If you want a hint at what everyone's favorite "The Mask" star might look like as she ages, you can take a glimpse at Cameron Diaz's older sister, who is gorgeous and shares her sister's bright, wide smile. Or just look at Diaz herself; unlike many celebs in Hollywood, 53-year-old Diaz has opted to age fairly naturally, and she isn't afraid to show it. While the mom-of-two indulges in glam for public appearances, she has spoken up about how she rarely wears makeup on a daily basis, and some social media snaps prove it. In June 2025, longtime friend and fellow "Charlie's Angels" actor Drew Barrymore posted a photo of the duo looking bare-faced and stunning.
Fans immediately jumped onto the praise bandwagon. "Thank you! We need more of that beautiful natural beauty!" wrote one. Another added, "THIS is aging gracefully. Both of them are so beautiful. Without all the creepy work that turns them into someone else. I wish other actresses would get this." A third appreciated this change of pace from Hollywood stars, commenting, "Gosh it's so refreshing to see beautiful women not afraid to age gloriously ..." We couldn't agree more.
Cameron Diaz's tips for looking beautiful without makeup
While we believe women should do whatever they feel comfortable with for themselves, Cameron Diaz is one star who's taking her own makeup-free, filler-free path. She's one of the celebs who has opened up about plastic surgery and injectables, saying on "Entertainment Tonight" in 2014 that she'd tried Botox but didn't like how "it changed my face in such a weird way."
Instead, she's focused on building her beauty from the inside out. In her wellness books, 2013's "The Body Book" and 2016's "The Longevity Book," she looks at the science behind our bodies and aging in a fun, approachable way. She shared how she wished she'd quit smoking earlier. (If you need extra motivation to join Diaz, here are the negative skin effects that may finally get you to stop smoking.) As she told "ET," her keys to youth are "nutrition, exercise, [and] laughter." She also explained to supermodel Naomi Campbell in a 2020 YouTube interview that because she's an older mom -– she and Benji Madden's children, Raddix and Cardinal, were born in 2019 and 2024, respectively -– she wants to take great care of herself to make sure she's around for her kids for as long as possible.
