The couple stood on the balcony while supporters chanted "USA" and cheered them on. Donald pumped his fists at the cheers, waved to the crowd, and even blew kisses, and when he seemingly ran out of things to do, he, without warning, jerked Melania to him and proceeded to give yet another awkward kiss to her, even though she appeared to be disinterested.

However, Donald Trump not only seemingly failed at this, but also publicly announced it during a press conference at the White House. In December 2025, Melania Trump addressed the nation, wished everyone happy holidays, and mentioned a project she'd been working on: "I hope you will be excited to support my new legislative initiative in 2026.
