Pamela Anderson Is Nearly Unrecognizable In Throwback Pic With Super-Short Hair
If you think of an iconic blond bombshell, circa 1990s "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson might come to mind. We've seen Pamela Anderson's stunning style transformation through the years, but did you know that she's also stepped away from her legendary fair tresses on a few occasions? That includes the pixie cut she sported in 2013, which is one of the best short hairstyles for her face shape.
In November of that year, Anderson debuted the crop as she ran the New York Marathon and again when she attended a jewelry launch. When Ellen DeGeneres asked the actor why she chopped it on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" she explained, "I just thought, you know, my hair had had a life. And I wanted to kind of put that behind me and start fresh." The host made her impression of Anderson's hair clear, saying, "I love it." Fans seemed to approve of the new look as well, with one YouTube user writing in the comments under the video, "This might be the best I've seen Pamela Anderson look in 20 years." Another added, "Wow, damn! I never pictured Pamela Anderson with short hair, and now I'm kinda regretting that I hadn't!"
Pamela Anderson has also dabbled in different hair colors
It's not just her super-short hair that has made Pamela Anderson seem unfamiliar. She's also one of the celebs who is nearly unrecognizable with her natural hair color. Because, drum roll, please: The "Naked Gun" actor is actually a born brunette.

Blond and brown aren't the only shades in her hair-dye history, however. In October 2025, she arrived at Tom Ford's Paris Fashion Week presentation with on-trend copper tresses. By the beginning of 2026, however, she was back to vanilla blond. And fans rejoiced. At the Golden Globes in January, she arrived with a bouffant, inspired by her mother's hair. One fan wrote on Instagram, "My favorite look on you EVER!!!" Another called it "so beautiful," while one declared, "The hair color is magnificent!" And just like that, she's entering her blond bombshell era 2.0.
