Elin Nordegren Was Never The Same After Her Tiger Woods Divorce (In The Best Way)

In 2010, Elin Nordegren walked away from her six-year marriage to Tiger Woods $100 million richer and more self-assured. Speaking to People that year, the former model confessed that the divorce had naturally shattered her idea of the kind of family life they would have with their two kids. While Nordegren worked through the grieving process of a divorce, she found a major confidence boost in her newfound independence, sharing with the outlet, "I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself."

Nordegren also admitted that she was grateful for her hefty divorce settlement because it had enabled her to fully focus on her family. However, she quickly noted that the money wasn't her ultimate source of happiness. Nordegren was glad that she wouldn't have to put her education on the back burner to travel with Woods, and in the following years, the former model worked hard in school.

In 2014, she left Rollins College with a bachelor's degree in psychology, a 3.96 GPA, and the coveted Hamilton Holt Outstanding Senior Award. If all of that weren't impressive enough, Nordegren had the honor of giving the commencement address at her graduation. In her speech, she shared that education had helped her find her footing amid tumultuous times. Meanwhile, in a 2014 People interview, she shared that getting a good education had been a long-standing goal of hers, and she'd chosen to follow through with it, despite being a multi-millionaire, to set a good example for her kids.

Elin Nordegren quietly settled down with NFL star Jordan Cameron

When Rollins College interviewed Elin Nordegren in May 2014, she confessed that although a part of her wished that she could've wrapped up her higher education sooner, she was ultimately happy that her part-time education enabled her to spend more time with her two kids. Nordegren later quietly obtained her mental health counselor license in September 2018. A few months later, the former nanny founded her own company, EN Therapy LLC.

Nordegren continued to do equally well in her private life. For instance, she fell for former NFL tight end Jordan Cameron in 2017, and they went on to welcome three kids. Notably, in June 2019, a source told Us Weekly that Nordegren was happily living "a normal, boring life" in Florida. Then, in March 2024, a confidant informed People that she couldn't be happier with how things had panned out, divulging, "Elin always wanted a big family and loved the idea of a house filled with kids. She has that now, living her sweetest dream."

Nordegren also safely avoided having an acrimonious split with Tiger Woods and has continued to peacefully co-parent with him. In a December 2015 interview with Time Magazine, the golfer deemed his ex-wife "one of [his] best friends." He was particularly happy about how they could stay in touch and put their children's well-being over all else. Suffice it to say that Elin Nordegren has had a complete transformation after the end of her marriage. Meanwhile, Tiger Woods is in a red-flag-filled relationship with Vanessa Trump that might not last.
