Taylor Swift Pics That Prompted 'Mar-A-Lago Face' Allegations

Back in 2020, multiple Grammy Award-winning artist Taylor Swift set the internet ablaze with a harsh critique of Donald Trump, in which she promised to vote him out in an X (formerly Twitter) post. Six years later, the tides seem to have turned, and not only is Swift gradually leaning back into an apolitical public persona, but the internet seems convinced that she's subtly gone MAGA. While there's no proof that the "Bad Blood" singer's political beliefs have changed, what's undeniable is that a couple of her appearances have seemed less girl-next-door and more "Mar-a-Lago face."

Mar-a-Lago face, as you probably already know, is characterized by normal aesthetic trends pushed to an exaggerated extreme. It's almost as though some of the worst offenders of the Mar-a-Lago face trend are doing an overcommitted plastic surgery parody bit. Swift's aesthetic tweaks aren't nearly as overdone as the worst of the Mar-a-Lago face crowd, but given that the progression from natural to extreme is never instant, it makes sense that the fans have their eyebrows raised.

Taylor looked unrecognizable on The Graham Norton show

Taylor Swift's appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" on October 3, 2025 came shortly after her internet-breaking engagement to Travis Kelce. There were small details in the engagement photos we couldn't stop thinking about, so naturally, everyone was pretty curious to hear from her. However, it wasn't the massive rock, giant as it was, that caught our attention; it was the singer's unrecognizable face.

Swift looked pillowy, and right away, we could tell that her filler was overdone ... and so could the internet. "She's always been gorgeous, but over the past year or so, she's veering more into overdoing the filler territory," one Reddit user posted. Another added, "Her nasolabial folds and tear troughs were beautiful, she has erased any definition to her face."

Obviously, we're staunch fans of personal freedom and having autonomy over one's body, but at what point does such extreme use of aesthetic procedures cancel out the "you are beautiful exactly as you are" narrative?

Taylor's face looked immobile during her Apple TV interview

Shortly after her "Graham Norton Show" appearance, Taylor Swift interviewed with Apple Music's Zane Lowe to chat about her recent album. Fans were extremely excited about this particular sit-down because "The Life of a Showgirl" album art was her steamiest look yet, and there were theories that it had to do with Travis Kelce. Unfortunately, Swift's face, once again, stole the spotlight. Beyond the obvious overdone filler, her face seemed static and unable to express emotion, which is a classic sign of poorly done Botox.

When used properly, Botox can be very beneficial in softening lines and wrinkles. When overused, as we see in Mar-a-Lago faces, the face gets frozen, and natural facial movements are hindered. The good news is that from what we can see, Swift is only overdoing Botox and fillers. Botox naturally fades, and many fillers can be dissolved or removed. All hope is not lost for the "Fate of Ophelia" singer, and with some better decision-making, she can put the Mar-a-Lago face allegations to rest permanently.
