News Anchor Face Transformations That Ignited Plastic Surgery Rumors

At first glance, news anchoring and modeling might seem worlds apart, but they actually have a lot in common. News anchors spend their careers under bright studio lights, in front of high-definition cameras, and under constant public scrutiny. Just like in modeling, breaking in and staying relevant often means fitting a very specific idea of what's considered conventionally attractive or camera-ready. Given just how appearance-centered the profession is, it's not surprising that many news anchors feel pressure to lean towards cosmetic procedures to stay competitive.

It typically starts on the low end, with cosmetic products for everyday tweaks, which is why some news anchors are totally unrecognizable without makeup. Then, it moves up to the bigger stuff, like plastic surgery to correct one or two perceived flaws. The final stage is total face transformations that look almost nothing like the anchor's original features. Let's be clear, there's absolutely nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery, and we believe everyone should have control over their bodies. However, it's almost impossible to ignore that more and more news anchors seem to be getting face transformations that lean into certain beauty standards, unrealistic aging expectations, and erase much-needed diversity.

Fox News Anchor Dana Perino has been in the spotlight for longer than most people know. By 2007, she was President George Bush's White House press secretary and held the post until he left office. Afterwards, she joined Fox News and has been with the network ever since. Given her lengthy career, the internet is pretty familiar with Perino's original looks, which is why it's almost impossible to ignore her glaring face transformation.

Her face looks wider, her nose looks different, and all the natural signs of aging she once had, like subtle crow's feet around her eyes, have vanished. In addition, Perino seems to have the impossibly tight and frozen expression that has become pretty common in MAGA circles. And while her transformation isn't as exaggerated as some of the worst offenders of the Mar-a-Lago face trend, the internet is convinced that her face transformation is not just the result of makeup and a good diet. One X user quipped, "Does Fox pay Dana Perino with plastic surgery gift cards?" Another user posted with certainty, "Dana Perino must have had plastic surgery."

Despite the heated chatter, Perino has yet to address the face transformation rumors. She has, however, shared eyebrow-raising beauty advice and claimed that curing Trump Derangement Syndrome will make you more attractive. "As my dermatologist says, it's not what you put on your skin, it's what you put in your skin. Same thing with your heart and your brain," she said (via X). Got it, Dana. The question is, does the plastic surgery come before or after?

From Kaitlan Collins' most inappropriate outfits to her facial features, the internet always has a lot to say about one of CNN's most popular news anchors. This includes whether or not her unique features are all natural or the work of a subtle plastic surgeon. Collins began working for the network in 2017, and ever since, social media users have been pretty focused on her mouth. Collins' lips are noticeably turned up at the corners in what looks like a permanent smirk. Since this feature is obviously not common, some people seem convinced that it's a side effect of a surgical procedure. "Has Kaitlin Collins had plastic surgery on her lips? Serious Q," one Reddit user posted. "To me, her lips are so distracting, the way they are always curled up on the ends ... Is it natural or manufactured?" One commenter responded, "I've wondered the same thing myself — glad I am not the only one who notices such things." 

While we can't say for certain whether or not this is natural, we can point back to her pictures from 2017, where the same curled-up-at-the-ends smile is present. In other words, if Collins had work done on her mouth, it was done before 2017. One interesting opinion on the anchor's smile came from another Reddit commenter: "My wife used to work with her father, and he looks exactly the same. Lol"

However, it's not just Collins' lips that have ignited plastic surgery rumors. "It does look like she had [plastic surgery] on her eyes. Look at what's going on [between] her eyelashes and her eyebrows," yet another commenter opined. The question is whether these features are simply natural or the result of plastic surgery.

Like many Fox News anchors, Tomi Lahren was already in the world of commentary before getting signed on by the network. She'd worked with One America News Network, appeared on "The View," and even hosted her own political shows. Looking back, it's impossible to ignore that Lahren looks unrecognizable in throwback photos from her earlier days. When the anchor spoke about Candace Owens on a Fox News segment in December 2025, most of the focus was on how different she looked and not on her opinions. "There's a second woman at Fox named Tomi Lahren? Cause that is not the same person," one X user pointedly said. Another commenter even quipped that Lahren had been replaced with a clone. 

Now, there's no doubt that Lahren has had an undeniable face transformation. But we have to consider if this is due to the heavier makeup style that has become more popular in MAGA circles. While Lahren's nose does appear thinner, people know that some tips for nose contouring are so good they might make rhinoplasties obsolete. However, other parts of her face transformation, such as her plumped-up lips, are harder to explain and are most likely due to injectables. Given the trend in MAGA circles as well as her wrinkle-free skin, it's also pretty likely she's had fillers and Botox. However, without a statement from Lahren or an analysis from a plastic surgeon, we'll never know for certain if the plastic surgery rumors are apt.

There are debatable face transformations, and then there's Jeanine Pirro's. The former judge began working for Fox in 2006 and anchored several programs until she left in May 2025. Since joining Fox, her appearance has shifted from the moderate look favored by most public servants to a more glamorous one meant to align with the news anchor beauty standards.

However, judging by Pirro's makeup-free photos and her general face transformation, we can guess that she also chose beauty procedures that were meant to hide signs of natural aging. There are no crow's feet, wrinkles, or lax skin anywhere on her face, even though these natural signs of aging appear on other parts of her body. Her nose looks much thinner and longer, and her eyes seem a bit more unbalanced. For obvious reasons, the internet is convinced that these changes are the result of surgical operations combined with heavy makeup.

Unfortunately, since Pirro's face transformation has tipped into overdone territory, the internet isn't holding back its comments. "I mean, like literally HOW MUCH plastic surgery has she had? I heard it was 'Judge' Jeanine Pirro, but it sure doesn't look like her," one X user commented. Another shared a snarkier comment: "If plastic surgery had a voice, it would sound like Jeanine Pirro's."
