Having been in the industry for over 30 years, Cameron Diaz knows a little something about longevity. She has staying power when it comes to her impressive acting career, and she's also one of the '90s A-listers who has maintained her beauty over the years. When she first stepped onto the scene opposite Jim Carrey in 1994's "The Mask," she cemented herself as a stunning blond California girl with sparkling blue eyes and an infectious smile. Of course, her look has changed over the years, but board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Raja Mohan doesn't believe that her lasting beauty comes down to big plastic surgery procedures.

"I do not think she has had any major or extreme surgical interventions in regards to her appearance," Dr. Mohan, who has not treated Diaz specifically, tells Glam exclusively. "She has aged naturally. If she has pursued aesthetic treatments it appears they have been done conservatively." Diaz is actually one of the celebrities who has opened up about their plastic surgery, having gotten a rhinoplasty. She told W Magazine that she was "getting [her nose] fixed" due to a breathing issue in 2006, but as Dr. Mohan notes, this procedure wasn't for any anti-aging benefits.

Looking at her face today, Diaz has the hallmarks of natural aging and still looks beautiful, from her radiant smile to her even complexion, and we love that she's changing the narrative and letting women know that it's okay to age. Surgery and cosmetic enhancements are fine, but so are lines and wrinkles. For those who like balance, there are several beneficial skincare treatments with minimal recovery time available, and Dr. Mohan believes that the "Shrek" actor may have gone down this route instead.

Cameron Diaz may have turned to non-surgical beauty treatments for her face

Cameron Diaz took a sabbatical from acting in 2014, and after she retreated from the spotlight to raise a family in 2019, photos of her became relatively rare. The evidence we do have of Diaz in the 2020s shows a naturally aged face that's still glowing and gorgeous. According to Dr. Raja Mohan, she may have used non-surgical treatments to help maintain that beauty and achieve a natural yet refined look since she still has peri-orbital wrinkles. "She may have had neurotoxins to soften her forehead or glabellar lines," the plastic surgeon speculates exclusively for Glam. "She may have had conservative filler treatments to volumize her face. These treatments are temporary."

In a conversation with Goop, Diaz admitted that she'd also pulled back on wearing makeup since taking a break from acting and maintained a simple skincare routine to keep up her radiance. "When I get up in the morning, I run my skin under the water in the shower—I don't even use a cleanser in the mornings," she said, adding that her favorite products include a face oil, a retinol, and the Goop Beauty Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator.

Dr. Mohan suggests that if Diaz wanted to alleviate signs of aging as she gets older, she could look at a blepharoplasty or a conservative facelift on the surgical side, or laser resurfacing on the less-invasive side. While the latter can't address skin that's started to lose its elasticity, it can address common issues like fine lines, an uneven skin tone, or age spots.
