At one point in her life, Kimberly Guilfoyle decided on an over-the-top makeup routine for all occasions and never looked back. Over the years, we have hardly ever seen Donald Trump Jr.'s former fiancee without cakey foundation, heavy-handed blush and bronzer, and her beloved smoky eye look. However, Guilfoyle did post a makeup-free look on her Instagram in August 2018, and she looked nearly unrecognizable in it.
The biggest departure from her regular look was in the area around her eyes. Without her dramatic smoky makeup and a thick coat of mascara, it was easy to focus on her beautiful bluish-grey eyes for once. The throwback snap also confirmed that she doesn't need to darken and overdraw her eyebrows to draw attention to her face because her beautiful features, which pop even more without the makeup, do the trick.
While her cakey foundation tends to steal the show at public events, her naturally glowy skin took the cake in the make-up-free snap. The photo also highlights how Kimberly Guilfoyle's look completely changes when she ditches her hair extensions. Without excessive hair products and extensions, the former Fox News anchor's natural, shiny hair is on full display. It's safe to say that Guilfoyle would be doing herself a favor by not partaking in the Republican hair trend and joining its worst offenders. All in all, it was wonderful to see Gavin Newsom's ex-wife so relaxed and confident while going bare-faced.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's complete transformation might just involve some plastic surgery procedures. After looking at photos of her through the years, plastic surgeon Dr. Dennis Schimpf exclusively told Glam in April 2025 that she may have gone under the knife several times in order to become one of the worst offenders of the "Mar-a-Lago face" trend.
According to our expert, Guilfoyle may have gotten some fillers around her cheeks for an added boost of plumpness. Moreover, Dr. Schimpf believed that her more well-defined jawline could be attributed to a mini or a full facelift. Dr. Schimpf also noticed some signs that Guilfoyle had gotten Botox around her forehead and eyes, and some minor work on her nose and eyelids. Additionally, her over-the-top makeup choices only shine a greater light on her Mar-a-Lago makeover. When we look at the before-and-after photos above, it's easy to see that Guilfoyle's makeup underwent quite the transformation when she started moving in the circle of MAGA women.
In earlier years, Guilfoyle seemed to prefer a more natural look, with minimal eyeliner, mascara, and eyebrow work, as well as blush placements that made her seem naturally flushed. Back then, she didn't have a tendency to apply layers of foundation either. However, she swung in the completely opposite direction after becoming a Fox News personality. The only constant between the two snaps is her pink, glossy lip, which has been a long-standing favorite of hers. And, of course, Guilfoyle smiles just as brightly in both photos, possibly indicating that she was just as confident then as she is now.
