Side-By-Side Pics Of Bunnie Xo's Face Transformation Are Head-Turning

The complete transformation of Bunnie Xo is only emphasized in photos taken before and after she got famous. The podcaster has gained significant volume in her face in the after photo, especially in her lips and cheeks. Upon closer inspection, there also appear to be minor changes in her nose, and the area between her nose and lips seems to have thinned out. Her makeup routine has also understandably gone through quite the transformation since she got famous. She has completely ditched her more natural look for a dramatic one, with overlined lips, overdrawn eyebrows, and heavy mascara.

Speaking exclusively with Glam, Dr. Brandon Richland, board-certified plastic surgeon at  Richland MD and Richland Aesthetics, professed that the changes in Bunnie's face could be chalked up to plastic surgery. Referring to the photo of Bunnie after her transformation, Dr. Richland told us, "Her facial structure looks very refined, likely a combination of maintenance with high-quality fillers and perhaps some fat transfer." While many celebrities have confessed to plastic surgery after years of denying it, Bunnie has taken a more candid approach to the matter from the very start. In a 2020 episode of "Meet the DeFords," the podcaster took fans along with her to get cheek filler in the hopes that it would help make her acne scars seem less prominent.

Bunnie also shared that she had gotten lip fillers and used the fat from a liposuction procedure to get a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). On paper, the procedures seem to be a testament to Bunnie's hard-to-believe lavish lifestyle. However, her real reason for undergoing the surgeries was far more tragic.

Bunnie Xo's views on plastic surgery have changed with time

In a YouTube Q&A, Bunnie Xo shared that her physically abusive relationship with her ex had left her with lasting marks on her face. "I had to get work [done to repair] the damage he has done to try to make myself feel better and to just put that in the past," (via Nicki Swift). Considering her deeply personal reason for going under the knife, it's unsurprising that she doesn't hesitate to stand up to critics who call her out for it.

In a February 2020 Facebook post, Bunnie shared that someone had left a comment on her YouTube video criticizing her for getting fillers and Botox since they believed that they aged her. Bunnie clearly wasn't having it, as she pointed out that the person behind the hate comment was only confident enough to have a blurry photo of themselves in their profile picture. With time, though, Bunnie's views on plastic surgery evolved. During an episode of her "Dumb Blonde" podcast, she shared that she had stopped getting facial fillers for a couple of years.

She encouraged fans to remember that the way they wanted to look with plastic surgery in their 20s likely wouldn't align with the more natural look they wanted as they got older. And her pivot seems to be right in line with Dr. Brandon Richland's "less is more" advice for her future. The expert exclusively told Glam, "I'd recommend focusing on skin quality medical-grade skincare, lasers, and maybe small amounts of biostimulators like Sculptra to maintain collagen without adding unnatural volume."
