These HGTV Stars Can't Seem To Dodge Ozempic Rumors No Matter How Hard They Try

A 2024 KFF survey estimates that one in eight Americans have or are currently taking GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic, so it stands to reason that if you suspect a noted shift in someone's weight loss, it may be because they're on the 'Zemp. And that includes the list of celebs who look different after weight-loss medications like Ozempic, and who have gone on record to tell fans and media how the drugs and subsequent weight loss have improved their lives. Like anything, there are risks and negative side effects involved as well, not to mention the ongoing stigma around it. It seems that accusing people of taking GLP-1s is still a diss on social media and some stars feel the need to defend themselves against accusations.

That includes a handful of current and former HGTV stars, who can't seem to dodge rumors surrounding their weight-loss and body transformations no matter how hard they try. From Egypt Sherrod to Mina Starsiak Hawk, there are at least four stars of beloved HGTV shows who have been accused of taking GLP-1s.

Egypt Sherrod's body shape has fueled public speculation about GLP-1 use

Egypt Sherrod and husband Mike Jackson built names for themselves on multiple HGTV shows, including fan faves "Flipping Virgins," "Property Virgins," "Married to Real Estate," and "Rock the Block." Since leaving the network in mid-2025, the couple has been hosting a podcast and focusing on their real estate and interior design businesses. And Sherrod has been documenting it all, as she has for years, for her followers.

Sherrod isn't one of those celebs who documents her eating and exercise regimens; instead she posts about her interior design accomplishments and family vacations. One such pic included her in Costa Rica wearing a red dress at the end of 2024. She looked noticeably slimmed down when compared to a photo posted at the beginning of the year that showed her in a white turtleneck. Instagram comments rolled in, with one user asking, "Are you on Ozempic? The weight loss is substantial!!" Sherrod shut it down, noting that she was not about to chance unknown future side effects from the drug. She posted the same pic to Facebook, adding, "Yes this waistline is real!" One follower commented, "Whatever ya doin, [it's] working so well, you look stunning." Meanwhile, beneath a January 2026 Instagram post that showed Sherrod sporting a seriously slimmer figure, a fan asked, "What did you do to lose the weight out or is this AI?" It isn't AI or the 'Zemp, if Sherrod's adamant refusal is to be believed.

Mina Starsiak Hawk has discussed going under the knife, but not Ozempic

Mina Starsiak Hawk had a very good 2016: She married personal trainer and health coach Stephen Hawk and she also got her start on HGTV, starring in "Good Bones." She's gone on to feature in further shows on the network, including "A Very Brady Renovation" and "House Hunters: All Stars."

You can also count her among the celebs who have opened up about their plastic surgery. Starsiak Hawk admitted on her podcast "Mina AF" in 2023 that after she had her two children, she had liposuction, a tummy tuck, and breast implants. She's also been open about her use of fillers, lasers, and eyelid surgery. But don't accuse her of taking GLP-1s.

After posting a bikini selfie of her and Hawk on Instagram in March 2025, someone commented, "I can see your GLP1 injection sites." She replied, "I can see your hatefulness." She had previously posted photos of her body before Hawk coached her with nutrition and fitness, but not everyone was excited by her transformation. "I always admired you for working out but also having a mom figure. A bit of curves but healthy because you worked out. Now I'm disappointed because you caved to look skinnier showing moms that it's not ok to work out and [be] happy with who you are. Yes, looks great but what does it say to those of [us] who work out and can't fix the rest with expensive surgery?" one fan commented on her February 2023 transformation post.

HGTV star Alison Victoria's been accused of taking Ozempic

Looking back at HGTV star Alison Victoria's transformation, we can see that the "Windy City Rehab" personality has gone from a normal, fit body (on display at an HGTV event in 2015) to quite slim, as evidenced in a bikini selfie posted in January 2026. On a July 2025 Facebook photo of the star, someone commented, "Can you say Ozempic?" But we suspect the "Sin City Rehab" alum hasn't dabbled, or even microdosed, with any GLP-1s. In fact, she's been open about steps she has taken to transform her body.

"I work out seven days a week; like a crazy person because it's a stress reliever and I just like keeping it real tight and right," she said back in 2021, per HGTV. She explained that interval running and arm circuits were part of her routine. Then in April 2025, Victoria revealed to Chicago Magazine that she starts her day with a workout on her Pilates reformer machine, followed by a protein shake and egg white bites. "Pretty much every night, I eat steak: a wagyu rib eye with salt, pepper, a little bit of butter, and rosemary," she told the publication. "I make a little salad with romaine lettuce and garbanzo beans." Earlier in 2021, Victoria shared that she doesn't do caffeine, but she drinks plenty of water and juice, and also loves olive oil. "I do celery juice with a little bit of apple and lemon daily," she said (via HGTV).

One of her other big transformations that may account for the noticeable change in her physique is abstaining from alcohol, which she started in 2024. "What we put in is what we get out," she noted to Chicago Magazine. We'd say Ozempic is not part of her routine either.

Lyndsay Lamb's weight loss comes down to her health issues

Add Lyndsay Lamb, host of "Unsellable Houses," to the list of HGTV stars that can't seem to dodge Ozempic rumors. Lamb, who co-stars with her twin sister Leslie Davis, has received her fair share of commentary on her figure. In March 2024, an Instagram follower commented beneath a post of Lamb, "Ozempic is amazing, you look amazing," insinuating that the remodeling pro was doing regular injections. Then in July 2024, on a post of Lamb in a cafe, a fan wrote, "Wow! You have lost a lot of weight!!! Don't get too skinny." She was notably trimmer here than in a post posing by a green piano from September 2023, for example.

But there's a reason, and it isn't a GLP-1. Actually, it's her health struggles. Lamb revealed in August 2024 on her podcast "Twin Win Unfiltered" that she has suffered from a host of issues that have led her to try many different things, including elimination diets, which is why her weight has fluctuated. In regards to the 'Zemp rumors, she said, "I giggle at the comments online about me taking Ozempic." Fans rushed to support her in the comment section on YouTube, acknowledging that accusations may keep coming in, but Lamb shouldn't let them get her down. "Sharing your story will help many ...Do not listen to any neg comments!"
