Katie Miller's Outdated Wedding Guest Look Was A Total Fashion Failure
If you were looking to gather the VIPs in the Maga-sphere altogether, you couldn't have done much better than White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino and state department employee Erin Elmore. For their February 2026 wedding held at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort (natch), the guest list was a veritable who's who in the Trump administration and its periphery: Marco and Jeanette Rubio, Elon Musk, Pam Bondi, Karoline Leavitt, Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity, Pete Hegseth, Jared Kushner, Jeanine Pirro, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kristi Noem, and even Trump himself. Also in attendance were homeland security advisor Stephen Miller and wife Katie Miller, who, like an overwhelming majority of guests, missed the fashion mark for the occasion.
Katie Miller, who hosts a Maga-espousing eponymous podcast, wore an outdated wedding guest look. Posing with Leavitt, Miller showed off her Zimmermann dress. It's actually a cute dress, but it felt very dated. A patchwork-print sundress? Totally on-trend ... for 2015. Sadly, this look just isn't in for 2026, and way too summery. Mustard yellow? Big a few years ago, but it's feeling a tad tired right now.
Katie Miller's casual outfit might suggest this wedding was an obligation
Along with being outdated, Katie Miller's dress felt out of place at a glamorous winter-ball kind of wedding. Yes, it's okay to wear a yellow dress as a wedding guest, but the fabric and style of the dress need to be taken into consideration with the setting, which Miller didn't seem to do. Not only was the look off-trend, but it was too casual and summery. Bottom line: This was a fashion failure for this conservative pundit, but she wasn't the only wedding guest who was style-challenged for the event.
We don't know the true nature of the relationship between Dan Scavino, Erin Elmore, and their wedding guests, but many of them appeared to be work associates, including many from the White House's inner circle. And for whatever reason, this event seemed particularly hard for them to dress for.
For example, did Pam Bondi, wearing a red button-up blouse, arrive straight from work? We're going to add this Pam Bondi's list of most inappropriate outfits because a blazer and business-casual top have no place at a formal wedding. We can also add her business-y look to Lara Trump's most inappropriate outfits. The Fox News host, who looked overly spray-tanned and arrived sans husband Eric Trump, wore a black fitted pantsuit. The top underneath gave it a bit more of a party feel, but overall, this wedding-guest look was too business-like for a ballroom affair. Though disappointing, these looks may shed light on Miller's underdressed and off-trend situation. Did these guests wear casual, fuss-free and work-inspired looks because that's what they felt like the occasion was — work?
