Side-By-Side Pics Of CNN Anchor Kaitlan Collins Show Off Her Face Transformation

CNN's Kaitlan Collins is one of the news anchors whose face transformation has sparked plastic surgery rumors. She's been working in the media since 2014, which has given viewers more than enough time to get familiar with her face and the changes as they've come. However, Collins seems to be in a different category than other broadcasters. For most other anchors, there is little to no doubt about the cause of their face transformations.

Between how wildly popular plastic surgery has become and pics of MAGA face transformations, it's pretty easy to spot changes that come from going under the knife. The difference is that none of these markers of plastic surgery are glaringly present on Collins' face — at least to the untrained eye. Yet, it's impossible to deny that something about her face seems different.

To get an expert opinion, Glam had an exclusive chat with Dr. Samuel Golpanian, a double board-certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. He analyzed side-by-side pics of Collins' face and discussed the possibility of plastic surgery or other beauty procedures. Right off the bat, Dr. Golpanian confirmed that we were right on the money about one thing: "I don't really think she's had any plastic surgery procedures," he says. To explain his analysis, Dr. Golpanian walked us through the changes on Collins' face.

Key parts of Kaitlan Collins' facial structure have remained the same across the years

One of the most glaring differences in side-by-side pics of Kaitlan Collins is her facial structure. For starters, her face seemed much fuller in her younger years, and she had a more baby-faced look. According to plastic surgeon Dr. Samuel Golpanian, this is a natural part of aging, and certainly isn't a marker of plastic surgery. "Her face is more full looking in older pictures, but it just looks like she's aging gracefully," he tells Glam exclusively.

Collins appears to have a more defined jawline and slimmer cheeks, which accentuate the contours of her face, but these are also natural signs of maturity. Dr. Golpanian explains, "You lose facial fat, especially cheek fat or buccal fat, as you get older, so hers are kind of going down as expected." However, these aren't the only reasons that our expert is quite certain that Collins hasn't had any plastic surgery. He pointed to two major markers of cosmetic procedures: changes in the shape or size of the nose and lips.

Although Collins seems to be using some of the tips for nose contouring that are so good they might make rhinoplasties obsolete, the core shape of her nose remains the same across her side-by-side pics over the years. "It has a degree of asymmetry, which in many cases is normal and a normal anatomic variant," Dr. Golpanian says. Similarly, her very distinctive lips and eyes appear the same. "I don't see any lip filler use in the lips, and I don't really even see any filler use around the eyes," he adds. According to Dr. Golpanian, Collins' transformation is likely due to non-invasive aesthetic procedures.

Kaitlan Collins' face transformation is due to a beauty routine change and possible Botox

One of the major differences in Kaitlan Collins' side-by-side pics is her approach to beauty routines, which can immensely alter how someone's face appears. Her initial makeup routine had matte foundation, minimal blush, and brows with an arched lift at the end to give her that snatched look. This contributed to her youthful face, as snatched ends are one of the eyebrow shapes that can make you look younger. Her updated makeup look is a tad glossier, has more blush, and her brows have less of an arch and lean more into a curved shape.

But it isn't just makeup that makes a noticeable change. During our exclusive chat with plastic surgeon Dr. Samuel Golpanian, he pointed to Collins' upper face in her recent pictures. "I see maybe some Botox use in between the eyebrows and on the forehead," he says. He added that although Collins is clearly treading gently with aesthetic procedures, it's the right choice for her. "I don't think she needs anything else at this age, especially," he explains. If he absolutely had to recommend a procedure, however, Dr. Golpanian believes she'd be a "good candidate" for a rhinoplasty and some work on her upper lip. "Filler versus a lip lift, depending on her anatomy, can volumize and make her upper lip fuller."
