Kimberly Guilfoyle Looks So Different When She Switches Up Her Middle Hair Part

Since becoming a prominent figure in the MAGAverse, Kimberly Guilfoyle has rarely deviated from her signature look. The former fiance of Donald Trump Jr. and the current U.S. ambassador to Greece is known for her figure-hugging outfits (though she also loves a power suit), dramatic makeup that makes her one of the worst offenders of the "Mar-a-Lago face" trend, and thick, long hair extensions. So, we were shocked when Guilfoyle stepped out with a major switch up in her hair in early 2026.

Throughout late January and early February, the ambassador rocked a side part after years of wearing a middle part. The first glimpse of this fresh 'do came when Guilfoyle visited the Fairytale Athens restaurant in Greece, but she continued to wear it to official events, including hosting the Greek premiere of the "Melania" documentary and the opening of the ONEX Rolling Stock Support Center. Naturally, fans took to the comment section of Guilfoyle's Instagram post from the "Melania" premiere, with one writing, "Love that the side part is back!"

One of the reasons why a side part suits Guilfoyle so much could simply be that it points to her style prowess. "I am definitely starting to see the side part make its way back," hairstylist TerraRose Puncerelli told Harper's Bazaar in late 2025. "Let me be clear: The side part has never been dead. She just took a nap." Meanwhile, hairstylist Jackson Simmonds told the outlet that it-girls are starting to incorporate the side part into their "roster of looks by simply making the flip" with occasional different parting. However, staying ahead of the trends isn't the only reason that Guilfoyle looks good with this hairstyle.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's side part complements her face shape

Different hair partings ebb and flow from the fashion fore as trends change, but regardless of what's en vogue, some hairstyles just suit some people better than others. The side part in particular might look so good on Kimberly Guilfoyle because it complements her oval face shape, even if it's transformed over the years. "Different partings suit different face shapes," hairstylist Luke Hersheson explained to Glamour. "If you have a longer face, a middle parting can accentuate it — long sections at the front will make your face look longer. Sometimes flicking hair over to one side helps to break up the proportions of the face, creating a more youthful look."

Additionally, the hairstylist revealed that whether a side part is trending or not, it inherently carries a glamorous it-girl vibe. "I don't think a side parting is ageing," he said in response to Gen-Z accusations that side parts are exclusively for millennials. "A centre parting is more undone and feels more grungy in a '90s way, but a side parting can look even cooler with connotations of an '80s supermodel."

Given that she initially rocked a side part as far back as 2002, Guilfoyle might know all of this already. But since becoming more seriously connected with the Trumps in 2018, she made the middle part her thing with little to no wiggle room. When someone has the same hairstyle — and, in Guilfoyle's case, an instantly recognizable style with excessive extensions — seeing them with any change is like a breath of fresh air. The ambassador has reverted back to her middle part since debuting her side part, but we can only hope that it becomes a regular style in her beauty rotation. We'd love for this to be a new chapter in Kimberly Guilfoyle's transformation.
