Side-By-Side Pics Put Meghan Trainor's 'Ozempic Face' On Full Display

Meghan Trainor's weight-loss transformation sparked a brutal Internet discourse about weight-loss drugs and the body positivity movement. Looking at the below side-by-side photos of the "All About That Bass" hitmaker taken in 2014 and 2025, respectively, it's difficult to deny that she has become one of the many celebs who look completely different after using weight-loss medications like Ozempic. In the 2025 snap, she appears to have a more defined jawline due to the loss of fullness around her cheeks and neck. Although she looks stunning in both photos, the post-weight-loss snap, which was taken when she was 31, may show some signs of aging.

In a chat with the Cleveland Clinic, endocrinologist Vinni Makin, M.D., explained that weight-loss drugs can make the user appear more aged. Losing subcutaneous fat — the fat below one's skin — is a natural part of aging; still, Dr. Makin added, "But rapid weight loss can cause these processes to occur more rapidly, which can mimic the natural aging process." Dr. Makin also detailed some other tell-tale signs of "Ozempic face," saying, "It's characterized by gauntness, sunken cheeks, new wrinkles and loose skin on the face and neck."

In a world where celebrities constantly dodge questions about weight-loss drugs, Trainor shared an Instagram post in March 2025, confirming that Mounjaro had aided her transformation. Unfortunately, some onlookers didn't appreciate her honesty. Rather, many social media users slammed the "Mother" singer for using a weight-loss drug after being a vocal proponent of the body positivity movement for years, and despite Trainor's best efforts, the negativity got to her.

Meghan Trainor cried about the hate comments surrounding her weight loss

Speaking on the Los Angeles radio station 104.3 MYfm in late 2025, Meghan Trainor shared that she had gained weight during her second pregnancy due to gestational diabetes. After the birth of her second son in 2023, the "Me Too" singer felt more motivated than ever to get stronger because she wanted to be able to care for her little ones without worrying about putting her body in pain. During a November 2025 Entertainment Tonight interview, Trainor shared that she had worked with a nutritionist to create a custom-made diet plan and started strength training regularly to feel her best.

The "No" hitmaker admitted that she was confused about why people were hurling hate comments at her at a time when she was properly caring for her body and feeling confident in it. Ultimately, Trainor felt like she couldn't win with the critics because she had received similar hate comments before her weight loss. Meanwhile, during a chat with "Extra" that same month, Trainor recalled how she had watched the hate comments pour in after she'd gotten more active on social media post-weight-loss.

Although she tried to convince herself that she was unbothered by the negativity, it eventually got to a point where she couldn't do it anymore. "I cried so much," Trainor admitted to the outlet. "They got to me, and my therapist was like, 'You give them too much power. I wish I didn't.' So, I'm trying to learn at 31 not to give strangers power. It feels silly." A break from social media may be exactly what her mental health needs, as is the case for everyone every now and then.
