Dr. Phil's Wife Robin Looked So Different Before Embracing 'Mar-A-Lago Face'
Dr. Phil McGraw's wife, Robin McGraw, isn't typically listed as one of the worst offenders of the Mar-a-Lago face, but this isn't because she doesn't make the cut. Most women in the Trump circle who've subscribed to this look are politicians and popular figures, so they're in the public eye more often. Robin is different. She was famous mostly because of Dr. Phil, and even he was getting less relevant before he joined Donald Trump's administration. Consequently, she isn't seen as often as the other women who've gotten Mar-a-Lago face makeovers.
However, when Robin does make public appearances, it's impossible to ignore just how much her face has changed since embracing the Mar-a-Lago face look. Her face transformation seems to have tried to erase wrinkles, sagging skin, and any other sign of aging. This could have been done with a combination of Botox, fillers, and maybe even a skin tuck or face lift, considering how unnaturally frozen her face is. Just like Judge Jeanine Pirro, who is also unrecognizable in snaps before plastic surgery, Robin seems to have an entirely new face that does a great disservice to her initial looks.
Before the Mar-a-Lago look, Robin had an angular facial structure, moderate facial volume, and soft features. Now, in the wake of the multiple aesthetic procedures, her face has an unnaturally swollen appearance that looks worse than aging ever could.
Robin McGraw pairs her new Mar-a-Lago face with the standard Mar-a-Lago makeup
If there's one thing that's clear from the MAGA face transformations you have to see to believe, it's that no Mar-a-Lago face is complete without the heavy glam makeup to go with it. It's unclear if this specific makeup look is to signal camera-readiness for women like Robin McGraw, or simply to cover up flaws from plastic surgery. However, since women in MAGA circles who haven't yet had obvious plastic surgery tend to go for this heavy glam look (like Erika Kirk, who is nearly unrecognizable without makeup), we suspect it's a combination of both.
In Robin's case, she's totally ditched her previous style of makeup, which makes her transformation even more drastic. Before the Mar-a-Lago face, she kept her eyebrows light and natural, just like her eye makeup, but that's no longer the case. She's now into cakey foundation, heavy brows, and thick eyeshadow that do nothing for her natural features.
As expected, the internet has been quick to let Robin know just how it feels about her face transformation across various social media platforms. When she posted an Instagram picture of her and Dr. Phil McGraw in November 2024, one commenter wrote, "Omg you looked so much better before you did whatever to your poor face." An April 2025 Instagram post was met with similar comments: "What in the world have you done? Your face was absolutely beautiful. Something doesn't look right about it now."
