Kimberly Guilfoyle's Inappropriate Outfit At A 2026 Nonprofit Event Will Always Haunt Her
Say what you will about Kimberly Guilfoyle, but she has her own style and sticks to it no matter what. Whether it's a romantic dinner date, a red-carpet event, or a fundraiser, best believe she'll end up stealing the spotlight with her signature dramatic makeup and yet another bold, skin-baring, figure-hugging number.
But while staying true to your aesthetic would probably get an actor or influencer major kudos from fashion critics and enthusiasts, this doesn't exactly fly if you're the U.S. ambassador to Greece, and your wardrobe consists mostly of low-cut outfits, sheer dresses, mini skirts, and tacky looks that should have stayed in the 2010s where they belong. Since officially taking over the role in November 2025, Guilfoyle's already lengthy list of inappropriate outfits has grown even longer. And she added yet another offense when she showed up at a nonprofit organization's event looking like she crashed the party instead of being one of the hosts.
In February 2026, Guilfoyle helped hand out awards at the Propeller Club Port of Piraeus' New Year reception in Athens, Greece, as part her duties as ambassador and the organization's honorary president. However, she stuck out like a sore thumb at the ceremony due to her ultra-short dress, which screamed WAG watching her tennis player husband compete in Wimbledon instead of her actual, official roles. Judging by the photos the nonprofit shared on Instagram, the dress code called for knee-length or longer and not, as Guilfoyle's barely-there skirt would suggest, butt-skimming. Aside from the length, her frock's pink lace details and scalloped neckline also gave the impression that it could double as a nightie, making it all the more inappropriate for a formal event.
Kimberly Guilfoyle is a repeat offender when it comes to looking too casual at official events
While her jarring outfit choice for the nonprofit organization's award ceremony was just one of many fashion mishaps that had heads turning, Kimberly Guilfoyle's tenure as U.S. ambassador to Greece hasn't been all bad style-wise. For instance, we'd count as a win the form-fitting all-black suit and tie-neck blouse she donned when she hosted Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, a top NATO and U.S. military official, in Athens in February 2026 (via Instagram). She also rocked a not as chic but still very appropriate white suit and tie neck blouse when she sat down with Greece's deputy prime minister, Kostis Hatzidakis, in December 2025 to "[discuss] ways we can work together to strengthen the dynamic U.S.-Greece partnership," according to her Instagram post.
However, Guilfoyle's few hits still can't overshadow her attention-grabbing misses, which began when she was preparing for the role, and continued well after she moved to the Greek capital to fulfill her duties. Her first ensemble right after completing ambassador training in May 2025 suggested she might have skipped the lesson on how to dress for the gig, as she wore a short tweed set to her graduation ceremony, per an X post. Another teeny-tiny outfit that should have stayed in Guilfoyle's closet was a Catholic school uniform-esque black-and-white mini dress that showed a little too much leg for a meeting with a top U.S. Defense official earlier that January. There's still plenty of time for Guilfoyle to update her wardrobe with more business casual and formal outfits, but judging by how obsessed she is with leg-baring looks, her skimpy dress at the nonprofit event likely won't be the last.
