As plastic surgeon Dr. Michel Siegel explained in an Instagram reel, taking GLP-1s causes weight loss in the body as a whole, and that includes the face. He shared that folks usually carry fat in their temples, neck, and cheeks, adding, "When you lose too much fat in the face, you lose your youthful appearance in what we term a cadaveric appearance, which makes you look like a skeleton." Using Perry as a reference, he pointed out, "There's a lot of hollowness in the lateral parts of her face, there's hollowness in her neck, and there's also hollowness around the eyes."

Although Perry never admitted to taking GLP-1s, she's definitely up there with celebs who look totally different after using weight-loss medications like Ozempic. It didn't help the rumors either when she gifted her friends syringes marked with "OzempiKP" for her birthday in 2024, the Mirror reported. While that may have been a clapback at all the fans accusing her of using semaglutides, that didn't stop them from pointing out all the signs of Perry's Ozempic face.
