You May Not Recognize America's Next Top Model Winner CariDee English Today

With the release of the Netflix docuseries "Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model" exploring the dark side of modeling, we couldn't help but wonder about one of the most personable Top Models ever, CariDee English. She was confident, gorgeous, and had an unforgettable portfolio, which eventually won her the Top Model crown in Cycle 7 of "ANTM." English was just one of those models who added a unique flavor to every photo she shot, and many "ANTM" fans were rooting for her to strike it big. However, a deep dive into her current looks has us doing a major double take.

Beyond her slim nose and blond hair, very little about English is the same anymore. She seems to have gotten lip filler and plastic surgery or Botox. To be fair, her choice to get facial work done isn't exactly shocking, given her profession, as there are so many original supermodels you won't recognize today. However, considering her natural beauty, we expected whatever aesthetic procedures she chose to keep her gorgeous features intact — and we're not the only ones.

Social media users seem just as distraught at how much English's face has changed. "My first thought was 'Girl, what did you do to your FACE?!'" one Redditor commented. "This is sad," another wrote, "She was so naturally pretty." A third Redditor added, "I don't want to tell a woman not to do what she wants with her body, but I don't understand how we got here. If someone as beautiful as CariDee thinks she needs to do this, what the hell have we come to?"

CariDee English still looks different even makeup-free

To get to the bottom of CariDee English's face transformation, we had to check out her Instagram. While her perfectly curated Instagram page wasn't surprising, what had us intrigued were her photos with little to no makeup on. These shots are definitely a lot easier to reconcile with the CariDee English we knew, but the difference is still clear. Despite the lack of makeup, it'd be fully possible to pass by these photos not knowing that they were snapshots of the "ANTM" Cycle 7 winner. Her face seems a lot slimmer, and her lips retain that plumped-up look that hints at professional work done.

Beyond cosmetic modifications, English had a concerning photoshop phase. In September 2024, she posted a bikini and jeans picture on Instagram that had everyone talking about how unnecessarily edited the snapshot was. "I mean I can see why people Photoshop but this doesn't even look human," one Redditor wrote.

Unfortunately, an Instagram post from June 2025 eventually revealed that English's facial changes and love for heavy photoshop might be related. "Just out here composing the vibe while juggling all the kids: Depression, feminist rage, mommy issues, ADHD, body dysmorphia, recovery, germaphobia," she captioned the post. Body dysmorphia, in particular, is a mental health condition that causes people to obsess over physical flaws that only they can see. The model didn't give more context to her post, but she did take a step away from social media, which, according to a psychologist, is one of the best ways to deal with body dysmorphia.
