All The Things HGTV Star Christina Haack's Exes Have Spilled About Her

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa could write the book on how to have a successful friendship with an ex. After the HGTV couple's 7-year marriage ended in 2016, they continued to amicably co-parent their two children and remained professional collaborators. However, that transformation didn't happen overnight. During a February 2024 chat with E! News, El Moussa confessed that he was initially furious with Haack for triggering their "heartbreaking" split.

He elaborated on his complex feelings, saying, "I was upset that she left me. She was upset that I acted the way I acted. We still had to work together. It took a big toll on our family." However, he eventually came to empathize with her reasons for ending their union. Meanwhile, when he appeared on "The Doctors" in March 2017, El Moussa shared that he realized that good communication would have made all the difference in their relationship. Moreover, he felt that he and Haack had drifted apart as they navigated their success and dealt with health issues.

However, time greatly healed their wounds. During his E! News interview, El Moussa was happy to call his ex-wife a friend. He was also equally pleased with the fact that Haack was on good terms with his second wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. The real estate developer firmly believed that they would never have been able to forge a good co-parenting relationship without forgiving each other. While fans find it hard to ignore the strangest things about Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa's post-divorce relationship, there's no doubt that their friendly dynamic makes perfect sense to both of them.

Ant Anstead questioned Christina Haack's parenting in court documents

After being married for two years and welcoming a son together, Christina Haack and Ant Anstead announced their split in a September 2020 Instagram post, per People. Shortly afterward, Anstead  shared an Instagram post confirming that he had wanted to work on their marriage, adding, "I pray Christina's decision brings her happiness." In June 2021, the exes signed off on their divorce papers and agreed to share custody of their son, Hudson, per TMZ.

However, their seemingly amicable co-parenting dynamic took a turn for the worse in April 2022, as TMZ reported that Anstead had filed for full custody of their child. In court documents, the former "Wheeler Dealers" presenter alleged that his ex-wife had only spent "9 full days each month" with their son in a period of over 20 months. Anstead accused Haack of being an absent mother in more ways than one, alleging that she had also let their infant son get badly sunburnt when he was in her care. Additionally, he also took issue with how she had supposedly included Hudson in her sponsored social media posts. However, a court shot down Anstead's request shortly afterward.

Eventually, their relationship found greener pastures as well. By February 2025, Anstead felt comfortable enough to appear on "The Flip Off" and talk about his co-parenting relationship with Haack. "The relationship that we have now is really, really important. And it's been a transformation," Anstead shared (via People). However, he also acknowledged, "As parents, it took us four and a half years to get to that point, which is really shameful."

Out of all of Christina Haack's exes, Josh Hall has shaded her the most

The third time wasn't the charm for Christina Haack, as she wound up filing for divorce from Josh Hall after nearly three years of marriage in July 2024. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for their split to turn ugly. According to court documents obtained by InTouch in September 2024, Hall claimed that his ex-wife was trying to get him nixed from an agreement they signed for producing "The Flip Off." Notably, Haack's third ex-husband had been removed from the HGTV show after only one episode.

In the filings, Hall insisted that he had contributed to his ex-wife's financial ventures before adding, "Unfortunately, Christina's new narrative is that I did 'nothing' and I deserve nothing." Somewhat surprisingly, the drama didn't end after they reached a divorce settlement in May 2025. In August 2025, Hall shared an Instagram post to shade Haack for talking about their divorce publicly, writing, "Lesson learned: don't marry someone who needs constant public validation and will use your personal drama for attention."

In September 2025, the "Christina On The Coast" star's third ex-husband told the Daily Mail that Haack's social media call-outs "lacked class." He added that putting an ex on blast on social media was beneath him and that the petty move seemed straight out of an angsty teen's playbook. Ultimately, he believed that Haack should have been grateful to him for putting a swift end to their divorce and not squeezing her for more money in court. In the face of all this shade, Christina Haack only added to the number of times she dressed for revenge.
