Leading Ladies Of Hallmark Who Live Incredibly Lavish Lives

Hallmark has apparently given its biggest stars plenty of reasons to stick around with them through the years. During a chat with Business Insider, talent agency owner Jennifer Goldhar professed that a Hallmark leading lady could expect to make, at the very least, $150,000 per movie. But stars like Candace Cameron Bure or Lacey Chabert would likely earn much more. Since most of Hallmark's leading ladies generally appear in multiple movies from the network, they could very well be adding hundreds of thousands of dollars to their yearly net worth for a commitment of only a couple of weeks.

Additionally, the network's stars seemingly get paid extra for loyalty. According to a 2022 Variety report, Bure once had a $1 million a year exclusivity deal with the network. And even if a Hallmark leading lady didn't appear in any of the network's movies in a given year, they could expect to earn a residual whenever their past work re-aired, per Backstage.

Although the residual amount decreased with every re-run until the 13th, when it was capped, it was still not a bad deal for one-time work. According to Variety, Hallmark actors had another significant source of income through the network's annual Christmas Con. The channel's faces could expect to earn anywhere from $10,000 to $75,000 for making an appearance at the event over the weekend. Additionally, they could also earn some money through selling autographs and taking photos with the fans. Given all this, it's unsurprising that Hallmark's leading ladies lead lavish lives.

Candace Cameron Bure has splurged on some luxurious accessories

Over her decades-long career in Hollywood, Candace Cameron Bure has racked up an impressive net worth of $14 million, per Celebrity Net Worth. A chunk of that money seems to have gone towards some hefty purchases.

For the "Moonlight and Mistletoe" star's debut appearance as a co-host on "The View," she wore a shimmery and eye-catching 1.86 carat white diamond ring from Parade that cost an eye-watering $10,825. We have also seen her wear numerous pricey items from Rachel Katz, including a $4,800 gold and diamond ring, a $1,500 14k gold triangle necklace, and a $1,150 rose gold ring. These glitzy accessories undoubtedly played a huge role in the stunning style transformation of Candace Cameron Bure. Unfortunately, even those additions couldn't save Candace Cameron Bure when she was caught wearing some truly outdated outfits.

Additionally, "The Heart of Christmas" star has also spent a pretty penny on cosmetic procedures. During a September 2020 chat with New Beauty, Bure confirmed that she got Botox injections in her forehead every year or so. According to Cosmopolitan's estimates from 2024, a forehead Botox treatment could cost between $300 and $600 or more. In her chat with New Beauty, the Hallmark star revealed that she had also undergone Harmony Dye-VL laser treatments to even out her skin tone. Although the prices for that treatment vary depending on the surface area covered, it could easily cost at least a couple of hundred dollars per session, and at least two sessions are generally required to see results.

Alison Sweeney's Los Angeles home is a dream come true

After working on "Days of Our Lives," numerous Hallmark movies, and several other films and TV shows, Alison Sweeney's net worth added up to $9 million, per Celebrity Net Worth. It's more than likely that a significant chunk of that stunning amount went towards her home in Los Angeles, California. According to Realtor.com, in May 2024, the "Love on the Air" star sought a monthly rent of $30,000 for her 4,000-square foot Hollywood Hills home that had 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The lavish home also came equipped with multiple fireplaces, an infinity pool, a spa, a 2000-bottle wine cellar, and a barbecue station.

Notably, in a December 2017 Los Angeles Times interview, Sweeney revealed that her living room could easily become a personal theater. For a truly cinematic experience, the spot was equipped with a drop-down screen and an old-school popcorn machine. But the comforts of their home didn't stop Sweeney and her family from exploring the world. In May 2024, Sweeney, her husband, David Sanov, and their two children went on a safari trip in South Africa. According to Kruger Gate Hotel, families of four looking to get a more luxurious experience could expect to spend $500–$1,600 a day on their adventure, which typically lasts at least five to seven days.

Amid her busy work days and travel days, "The Irresistible Blueberry Farm" star somehow found time to care for herself. In an April 2014 chat with WebMD, Sweeney revealed that she loved using the La Mer cream as a moisturizer. According to La Mer's website, a 0.5 oz. jar of the cream costs $100, and the 16.5 oz. variant costs $2,950.

Lacey Chabert seems to be quite partial to diamonds

Lacey Chabert has raked in $4 million over her long-standing career, according to Celebrity Net Worth. So, it's unsurprising that we have seen the Hallmark star don some pretty expensive jewelry. While attending the "Hallmark Channel's Home & Family" event in 2019, Chabert wore a pair of stunning diamond drop earrings that would have set her back nearly $7,000. We have also seen her wear diamond earrings from Gabriel & Co. that likely cost her a couple of thousand dollars. Chabert was all blinged out in thousands of dollars of dainty jewelry from the brand in a January 2022 Instagram post.

In 2019, the "Haul Out The Holly" star and her husband, David Nehdar, spent $1.9 million to acquire a lavish home in California. Thanks to her status as one of Hallmark's most recognizable faces, Chabert also has the pleasure of traveling around the world for shoots and witnessing some stunning views without the hustle and bustle of tourists. In a November 2023 People interview, she revealed that she got to film a scene in a picturesque castle in Scotland for "A Merry Scottish Christmas."

Meanwhile, in a January 2026 Instagram reel, she revealed that she had climbed up a mountainside in Fiji for "Lost in Paradise." Of course, Chabert also enjoys traveling on her own time. When the "Celebrations" host did a "What's in My Bag" with Us Weekly in November 2019, she shared that she had an annual pass for Disneyland, which she described as her "favorite place in the world." Even the most basic pass for the theme park would set her back nearly $1,000 yearly.

Tamera Mowry-Housley spends a lot on skincare

According to Celebrity Net Worth, "Sister Sister" stars Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley had raked in an impressive $8 million from all their years in Hollywood. For Mowry-Housley, a significant chunk of that amount likely comes from her work in Hallmark movies over the years. And the "Christmas Comes Twice" star has undoubtedly made good use of the money. In a 2019 YouTube video, Mowry-Housley shared that her skincare regimen included a $185 face serum by Dr. Nigma Talib as well as an iS Clinical $177 serum.

By 2024, her skincare routine had seen the addition of two wildly expensive La Prairie products: their $455 Skin Caviar Luxe Sleep Mask and their $545 Liquid Lift. In a YouTube video detailing her upgraded skincare routine, Mowry-Housley stated that the products were well worth the splurge because they had worked wonders on her skin.

Another major expense that Mowry-Housley would likely and rightfully classify as money well spent was her lavish wedding. According to People, in May 2011, 300 guests watched Mowry-Housley walk down the aisle to Adam Housley in a vineyard and inn situated in Napa Valley, California. For the big day, "The Santa Stakeout" star went with a Carolina Herrera gown that would have likely set her back thousands of dollars. For some extra glam, Mowry-Housley wore a sizable diamond necklace and diamond drop earrings made by Erica Courtney. It is more than likely that the price of those two accessories could have climbed into the tens of thousands of dollars. Mowry-Housley and Adam started building their life together in a gorgeous home in Napa Valley, which was not too far away from their family vineyard.

Danica McKellar had some stunning homes in her portfolio

Danica McKellar's steady presence in media and the many books she has written over the years have cumulated into an $8 million net worth, per Celebrity Net Worth. The "Perfect Match" star spent $1.725 million of that staggering amount to acquire a home in the posh suburbs of Rancho Park in Los Angeles in 2013, according to The Richest. McKellar's 3,100 square-foot home came with three guest bedrooms, a master bedroom large enough to comfortably fit a seating area, and a bathroom equipped with a jetted tub. However, the Hallmark star eventually sold the property for a little over $3 million so that she could move to an even bigger home.

Around early 2022, the "Love in Design" star and her husband, Scott Sveslosky, decided to move into a sprawling 8,500 square-foot mansion in Nashville. The $3.1 million property was quite an upgrade from her original home since it came with six bedrooms and offered gorgeous views of the surrounding woodlands. The Hallmark Channel leading lady and her real-life partner enjoyed an equally scenic view during their stunning destination wedding in Hawaii in 2014. According to Aloha Bride Connections, a typical wedding in Oahu with 100 guests could cost between $50,000 to $80,000. That staggering number notably doesn't account for travel or wedding attire costs.

Despite her stunning net worth, McKellar doesn't seem to be prone to splurges on luxurious items. However, she doesn't mind getting all dressed up for formal events. For the 2022 iHeartRadio Awards, McKellar wore a stunning blue Oliver Tolentino gown. A gown from a high-end brand like that could have easily cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
