Kaitlan Collins' 2026 Grammys Gala Gown Crowned Her The Queen Of The LBD

We already know that Kaitlan Collins can rock a pantsuit like a pro, but is "queen of the little black dress" another title to bestow on the CNN anchor? Based on her look at the Pre-Grammy Gala, we'd say yes. For the event, held in Los Angeles at the end of January 2026, this look definitely didn't land among Kaitlan Collins' most inappropriate outfits. It was simple, yes, but it was classic, like a study in Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, TikTok's quiet-luxury fashion icon, who was also a pro at nailing the understated LBD for events. Collins pulled off the body-hugging silhouette with class and sophistication.

This pre-Grammys 'fit was actually a recycled look for Collins, as she had also worn it to the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April 2025. Of course, her fans loved both iterations of the LBD. For the '26 re-wear, one Insta follower wrote, "Imagine being this smart and hot." Another enthusiastically added, "Rocking the little black dress!"

There's a perfect LBD type no matter what your style is, and it seems that Kaitlan Collins has found hers: elegant, figure-hugging, and just a subtle element of interest. By element of interest, we mean a little something extra. For the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in April 2023, she chose a Rebecca Vallance dress that had a ruffle around the torso and simple white piping to accentuate the feminine silhouette.

When she appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in August 2024, the White House correspondent wore the Idy Button-Front Dress from L'Agence. The somethin'-somethin' extras were the gold buttons and waist-cinching belt on the LBD, which Collins offset with gold heels. One fan wrote on Instagram, "[Sexy] as h*** with those gold shoes on ... they look modest but fire." Modest but fire could be an apt description for her on-point LBDs as well.
