3 Inappropriate Outfits Kimberly Guilfoyle Has Worn As The Ambassador To Greece

Kimberly Guilfoyle seems to be intent on keeping herself in the discussion no matter what part of the globe she's on. From her career in law, to having been married to then-San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, to becoming a face at Fox News, Guilfoyle has stealthily crept into the national conversation and won't give up her seat.

In 2018, she started dating Donald Trump Jr., became engaged to him in 2020, and then was announced as the U.S. ambassador to Greece. Coincidentally, or not according to some sources, the announcement of her new position came a day after reports that her relationship with Don Jr. was over and he was now courting Bettina Anderson.

Looking at the complete transformation of Kimberly Guilfoyle, she's never quite been able to nail appropriate dressing in any stage of her public life. And Kimberly Guilfoyle continues to add to her list of inappropriate outfits as ambassador to Greece. If nothing else, it serves to keep her in the public discourse, which appears to remain a top priority for the diplomat.

Kimberly Guilfoyle dressed like a schoolgirl for a diplomatic meeting

Anyone else have Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time" playing in their head right now? After meeting with David Baker from the U.S. Department of War in January 2026, Kimberly Guilfoyle posted a pic to her socials of her wearing a minidress that hit at her mid-thigh. Many would deem this an inappropriate length for an ambassador to wear to a diplomatic meeting, which is why this schoolgirl-esque teeny-tiny Kimberly Guilfoyle outfit should've stayed in her closet.

The Facebook floodgates opened on this one, with comments both praising and questioning the appropriateness of her black-with-white-trim Simkhai minidress. "Why is a 55-year-old wearing an elementary school uniform?" wrote one. (For the record, she was 56 at the time.) "Please dress your age!" demanded another, with a similar comment reading, "She needs different clothes. It's like she wants to be a continuous teenager."

Kimberly Guilfoyle's sheer black dress didn't get good feedback

When Kimberly Guilfoyle posted a photo of herself in January 2026 to X with the prime minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis and businessman Nikos Tsakos, one person commented, "Dress with class, tacky. [Are] you trying to get your next man?" Possibly. Per the New York Times, when the president of Greece asked about her credentials for becoming the ambassador to his country, she reported that she had a nice second honeymoon there with Newsom in 2004. The president alluded to the fact that the marriage wasn't as nice as the honeymoon, to which she replied, "We'll work on a new husband."

Whether she's in the market or not, some folks don't think a sheer ruched dress is the way an ambassador should dress, especially when meeting with the highest officials in her host country. "With all due respect, is this 'diplomatic' attire that respects the dignity of the office and host-country and imparts the 'business' partnership diplomatic message??" questioned another X user, referring to Guilfoyle's black Self Portrait dress. Meanwhile, the platform heels were probably better for a night on the town.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's suit was stretched to the limit

Not wearing white in the winter time is an outdated fashion rule that we aren't following anymore, and neither is Kimberly Guilfoyle. We do wish, however, that she'd follow a bit more decorum when it comes to how her clothes fit. Super-tight fits miss the appropriateness mark in professional situations. On a trip to Washington, D.C. in February '26 for meetings as ambassador, she chose a head-to-toe white look, including her beloved bow-neck blouse style. One Facebook user graded the outfit in academic terms, writing, "White suit is F-." Another called out the inappropriate look: "White suit is not flattering, precious Kimberly!" An X user added, "Your jacket is a little too tight. It doesn't look attractive."

We'd also add that pulling off white in winter means that it shouldn't feel summery. A quick fix is to add in more cold-weather, heavier textures. That prevents a look from feeling flat, as Guilfoyle's did.
