What Lara Trump's Lips Looked Like Before Her Rumored Filler

Lara Trump's face has completely changed over the years, particularly after she was thrown into the political spotlight. Like many of the women in the MAGA sphere, Lara Trump — who is President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law and former campaign advisor — has embraced cosmetic enhancements to achieve a certain look. The "MAGA makeup" trend, combined with the exaggerated facial features of the "Mar-a-Lago face" phenomenon, has seen many of the Trump ladies embracing fuller lips, lifted brows, heavier makeup, and, of course, their trademark blond extensions. 

While there's nothing wrong with getting a cosmetic procedure done if that's what you want, we've noticed a stark change in Lara's lips since her marriage to Eric Trump in 2014. And, while we know what other celebrities like Lisa Rinna's lips looked like before all the extreme filler, Lara Trump's lips have flown under the radar by comparison.

When comparing pictures of Lara Trump from 2011 and 2025, it's clear that she likely had some work done, such as lip filler injections. In 2011, Lara had naturally thinner, less prominent lips. However, in more recent photos of the talk show host, her lips are significantly plumper with a more defined cupid's bow. One of the biggest myths about lip fillers is that they always make lips look unnatural or overdone. Lara's filler, while noticeable, is far from the over-exaggerated look that other women in MAGA-land are known for. 

Lara Trump is considered one of the worst offenders of "Mar-a-Lago face," and not without good reason. Lara sports hollow cheekbones, extra-plump lips, prominent eyebrows, and a healthy dose of forehead botox — all trademarks of the modern MAGA look. We've noticed that Lara Trump looked so different in her engagement photo from 2013, likely because it predates the significant changes Lara has made to her face over the past few years.

Plastic surgeon Michael Niccole exclusively told Glam that lip filler probably isn't the only cosmetic procedure Lara has undergone. "There's a chance she's had a rhinoplasty, as her nose appears slightly lifted and refined in some images,"  Dr. Niccole said. "Botox and fillers are assumed to be part of her routine. It also looks like she's had fat transfer to the lower eyelids to help reduce the hollowness."

While it's always hard to know what to expect when getting lip injections, Lara Trump's lips actually didn't come out looking too overfilled — especially compared to other MAGA-affiliated women like Laura Loomer, whose face has transformed over the years due to lots of lip filler and other procedures. When Glam spoke exclusively to board-certified plastic surgeon Frederick Weniger about Lara Trump's face transformation in 2025, he said that her lip filler was done pretty well. "[Her lips] appear more balanced and fuller than before, possibly due to the use of subtle lip filler to enhance symmetry and volume without creating an overly augmented look," Dr. Weniger explained.
