LeAnn Rimes' Menopausal Health Journey Led To Her Now-Viral Jaw Release Video
The spotlight has been on LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's strange relationship for quite some time, but the country singer is now making headlines regarding her health journey. The "Blue" singer has been open about her psoriasis and teeth problems, but she's touched on everything to know about perimenopause, as well. "I thought I was crazy for about two years. I was waking up at 3 a.m. all the time, and having really, really heavy anxiety," Rimes told Flow Space in 2025. Those symptoms caused her to reach out to an expert — there's nothing the "9-1-1: Nashville" star won't try, and that includes a jaw-release session. "She is so proactive in her health journey — emotionally, physically, spiritually — that it's truly inspiring," Cibrian shared.
In March 2026, Human Garage posted an Instagram reel of healer Garry Lineham working Rimes' jaw, which resulted in her breaking into tears from relief. She then laughed and said, "You just don't realize how much tension is in there." While the technique was new to many viewers, intraoral massages could be key in easing TMJ pain, and according to Rimes, it was one of the many steps towards easing her perimenopause symptoms.
LeAnn Rimes is more in tune with her body amid perimenopause
Entering your 40s can come with a lot more health issues, but LeAnn Rimes is doing her best to get ahead of them, including jaw release. "I'm starting to see new things show up in my body. And so I want to be able to maintain a level of performance on stage, a level of health and wellness in my own personal life, and a sense of ease in my body," she explained to fans in a live video (via People).
Rimes revealed that she had been experiencing TMJ for years and had to put music on hold to address it. "Don't just push through it. For a long time, I thought I had to ignore it and keep going. But getting help and understanding what was happening made a huge difference. There are more options now than people realize," she advised The Healthy in April 2026. In addition to using a treatment called Emface, Rimes credits deep breathing to calm her nerves. "It's the one thing I can do anywhere, no matter how busy life gets," she shared.
