Courteney Cox's Daughter Coco Arquette Is The Perfect Mix Of Her Parents

Between Coco Arquette's close relationship with her mom, Courteney Cox, and how much she looks like her dad, David Arquette, the only child of the former Hollywood couple is the perfect mix of her famous parents. Coco and Courteney stunned when the mother-daughter duo hit the red carpet for the "Scream VI" premiere in New York City in March 2023. While still looking very much like her dad, Coco, who has had a stunning style transformation, posed alongside her mom, and the pair looked like twins. Boasting Courteney's signature defined cheekbones and radiant smile, the pair's matching black eyeliner, long lashes, and gorgeously full eyebrows showed that Coco took on the best of both her parents' genes.

Since welcoming Coco in 2004, Courteney and David saw firsthand the strong resemblance she shared with her dad, along with having inherited his quirky personality. When celebrating her 21st birthday, David shared a few humorous childhood photos of Coco on Instagram. One showed her wearing multiple plastic crowns on her head, and another saw her posing with a funny face and her hand up in the air (per People). The throwbacks amplified just how much Coco looks like her dad and that she picked up his whimsical flair.

For Coco's 20th birthday, Courteney shared a sweet photo carousel on Instagram of some new and old pics of her daughter. The pics included a beach selfie, a snap of a much younger Coco on the beach holding a bucket, and two funny face photos, explaining what Courteney meant when she shared in her caption, "You never cease to make me laugh." While they appear to be extremely close, time will tell whether Coco and her mom will become one of the mother-daughter duos in Hollywood with matching tattoos.

Coco Arquette is named after her famous mother

Courteney Cox named Coco Arquette after herself, abbreviating the first two initials of her first and last name, David Arquette revealed on "Lopez Tonight," per Us Weekly. The "Friends" star had no choice but to find a creative alternative, as David's Jewish faith prevented the couple from naming their child after a living relative. Coco returns the love by supporting her mom's big moments, walking hand in hand and posing together at premieres, and attending her mom's induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023. When the pair spoke with People in 2018, Coco shared how close they are, telling Courteney, "I love you a lot."

With Coco serving as a continued link between Courteney and David, the former couple has co-parenting down to a science in the wake of their 2013 divorce. "No matter what happens in our future, he's my very best friend," Courteney told People. David has since gone on to welcome two more children, sons Charlie West and Augustus "Gus" Alexis, with his wife Christina McLarty, and has expressed remorse toward Coco for his split from Courteney, "because divorce is so difficult," he told The Guardian in 2021. Despite the split, David has a lifelong memento in honor of his daughter and his first wife, a tattoo that reads "I love mom and dad" in Coco's handwriting, the first note she ever wrote to her parents on her own (per People).
