Nothing screams Southern roots like walking barefoot on the grass, and when Kaitlan Collins returned to her hometown in Alabama to report from her sister's front yard, she gave us a peek into her pre-glam casual looks. The CNN anchor styled the lovely ensemble with a white wide-brim hat and looked stunning in front of the blue waters of the Italian coast. 

In 2021, not only did Kaitlan Collins manage to elevate her style, but she also proved she learned a thing or two from royal fashion history. While spending the winter holidays on Nantucket, Massachusetts, she turned heads by pairing a pair of chic black bootcut jeans with the iconic red Warm & Wonderful sheep sweater, which was popularized by the late Princess Diana. From 2023 onward was when Kaitlan Collins' style really began to undergo a massive transformation. The CNN anchor traded in her old understated basic outfits for impeccably tailored silhouettes even on her days off. In November 2023, she returned to her alma mater, the University of Alabama, and she looked like a completely different person from the Southern girl wearing cutoff denim shorts. By 2026, not only was it clear that Kaitlan Collins was living a lavish lifestyle, but she had also solidified her status as one of the most stylish anchors on primetime TV. On her April 2026 trip across the pond, Collins went full on London city gal mode and brought out a classic trench. She styled it with a button-up shirt tucked into flared jeans. The look was accessorized with sunglasses that complemented her face shape perfectly and a vintage Chanel single flap bag in red and black. 

Her sightseeing outfit for her trip to Barcelona, Spain, in May 2026 was night and day from her outfit on her 2017 China trip, and a prime example of Kaitlan Collins nailing the old money aesthetic. The CNN correspondent styled a black quilted leather jacket with a striped button up and white jeans. She finished the look with a Chanel classic flap bag and what appears to be black ballet flats from the luxury French fashion maison. Later that month, in a mirror Instagram selfie, her athleisure look radiated the same "put together" energy. The black leggings layered with crew socks and a cropped tee layered under a windbreaker-style jacket was perfection.
