Kelly LeBrock, who popularized the "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful" catchphrase for Pantene, dominated the 1980s with her undeniable beauty and charm. She became a top model as a teenager in the 1970s, which led to her leading roles in films like 1984's "The Woman in Red" with Gene Wilder and John Hughes 1985 cult-classic, "Weird Science." Throughout the decade, LeBrock enjoyed being among the it girls of the '80s. Now, her beauty has only carried over into her elder years.
In December 2025, LeBrock wowed fans when making a rare red carpet appearance at the 7th Annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala in The Maybourne Beverly Hills. Wearing leather pants and a black cowboy hat over her brunette locks, LeBrock served classy ranch house vibes, representing for the women over 50 who have the trendiest hair in Hollywood.
Following her high-profile 1996 divorce from actor Steven Seagal, LeBrock didn't find it in herself to maintain her Hollywood appeal. She opened up to Fox News in 2021 about leaving the industry to live a quieter life and raise her children. "I'm just not a Hollywood girl. Never have been. I never really liked the attention. I wanted to have dirt in my nails and be in the outdoors," she said. Becoming a famous model as a teenager and a Hollywood dream girl of the '80s has high highs and low lows. After more than 20 years of high-profile celebrity stardom, LeBrock said she was "done" with being famous. "I became famous when I was very young and it didn't do me a bit of good. It just caused trauma. Being famous is not for everybody," she said.
Kelly LeBrock is happy living like 'a recluse' on her ranch
When attending the 7th Annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala in December 2025, Kelly LeBrock was simply happy to be there. "I don't really go out anymore. I'm sort of a bit of a recluse, but I like it like that," she told the Daily Mail in the same year. "I gave up diamonds for dirt, and I have a big ranch that I have horses and cattle and dogs and chickens, and I take care of it myself."
Even as an older woman, LeBrock still owns her sex appeal. She has found new ways of defining her beauty. For example, LeBrock found confidence in raising her children on her own. "Becoming a mom gave me purpose, resilience and a reason to get up in the morning," LeBrock told Closer Weekly (via People) in 2017. "And sexiness comes from experience, not being young, so I feel sexier than ever!" Becoming a mom as a source of empowerment seems to be an intergenerational experience. For example, motherhood helped Hillary Duff reframe her feelings about her body and Ashley Graham's motherhood mindset is a testament to the women who came before her.
LeBrock hit the red carpet with her daughter, Arissa, at the time to promote their appearance in Lifetime's "Growing Up Supermodel." Looking back on her time as a supermodel and Hollywood it girl, LeBrock admitted to never seeing herself the way everyone else did. "When I was touted as a sex symbol and beautiful and blah, blah, blah, the irony is that I didn't feel it," she told People in 2017. In fact, the "Hard to Kill" star became more confident as she grew older. "Now that I'm more mature and wrinkled — I actually do have wrinkles! — I'm much more comfortable in my skin," she said. "I'm happy with who I am and where I am."
