Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Got Sweet Marriage Advice From Officiant Adam Sandler: 'Kiss Her'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's over-the-top wedding weekend may be over, but new details about their private ceremony are still coming out. Swift and Kelce's marriage was officiated by Adam Sandler, who reportedly gave them some advice during the proceedings. As Kansas City Chiefs head coach (and wedding guest), Andy Reid, revealed to CNN. He recalled Sandler saying, "Kiss every chance you have every day. So whether you're going to bed, or to work, or whatever, go ahead and kiss her." Though it's simple advice, for Reid, it was one of the most memorable parts of the star-studded Madison Square Garden ceremony. "I thought that was ... in its simplest form, was really touching that way," he said.

According to Reid, Sandler did a "phenomenal" job at officiating the marriage, and that the "Happy Gilmore" star "[brought] a little bit of humor but also some sensitivity" to the couple's big moment. While we don't know much about the secretive ceremony yet — aside from getting to see some of the best beauty moments from Taylor Swift's wedding — the small details released to the public show that the newlyweds were surrounded by love and support.

While certain details of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding have been kept hush-hush, some guests have begun to discuss what they experienced. Just as Andy Reid recalled Adam Sandler's sweet speech, George Stephanopoulos also disclosed some coveted information about the private ceremony while discussing the event with fellow Good Morning America anchors (and fellow wedding attendees) Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan. After confirming fan suspicions that the ceremony would be full of lush greenery, Stephanopoulos described the wedding as "a garden inside the Garden," adding, "It's hard to imagine that a place that big and a wedding with such stars could feel so personal and so intimate." 

We've always known that Taylor Swift lives an outrageously lavish life, but her wedding was truly next-level. Madison Square Garden can hold up to 20,000 people, but Swift and Kelce's ceremony hosted 1,000 guests. Though the event reportedly had a garden party vibe, the dress code was black-tie — something the worst-dressed attendees at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding certainly struggled with. But, as more details about the high-profile ceremony are eventually revealed, we may get a better glimpse behind the curtain.
