'You Can Do It All': Lacey Chabert Wants Her Daughter Julia To Know The Sky's The Limit

As Gretchen Wieners in the 2004 comedy "Mean Girls," actor Lacey Chabert played a character whose only claims to fame were her supposed relation to the Toaster Strudel's inventor. However, as a real-life working mom and leading lady of Hallmark who lives an incredibly lavish life, Chabert has made it clear that her daughter can achieve anything she hopes to, regardless of her mom's fame.

The Hallmark star and her real-life partner gave birth to a daughter, Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar, in September 2016. Though she's since been busy at work and undergoing a complete transformation over the years, Chabert emphasized that her daughter is her number one priority. "Julia is the light of my life," Chabert told People in a March 2019 interview. Just as she's thrived personally and professionally, she hopes she can forge a similar path for Nehdar to pursue her dreams with a solid support system. "I'm very thankful that I'm also able to continue working," she said. "I hope to set that example for her to let her know that you can do it all, but with a lot of help and support!" We couldn't fathom a more "fetch" way of thinking.

Lacey Chabert loves being a mom

Hallmark star Lacey Chabert may be well-known for her on-screen relationships, but it may be her relationship with her daughter that deserves the most praise. A September 2023 Instagram snapshot of her holding her little girl and an image of her and her daughter looking off into the sunset showed how grateful Chabert is to be a parent. "I thank God every day for the blessing of being Julia's mom," Chabert wrote in a May 2023 Instagram post celebrating Mother's Day. "She fills my heart with joy!"

Aside from Chabert's more public displays of affection, an average morning dropping off Nehdar at school is also filled with much love. "I give her a million kisses on her little cheeks and give her a big squeeze before drop-off," Chabert told People in a December 2025 interview. These sweet moments are often accompanied by priceless advice. "I tell her how proud I am of her and how much I love her and I say, 'The most important thing is not grades — obviously do your best — but it's being kind to people.'" Knowing that kindness is key and that her possibilities are endless, Nehdar has surely been set up for success.
