Nikki DeLoach Credits This Workout With Changing Her Body And Giving Her 'Longevity'
Nikki DeLoach approaches beauty with grace and gratitude, prioritizing habits that fit her definition of self care. Among those habits is strength training, which the Hallmark actor credits with having an amazing impact on her physique. "I move my body. I work out. I lift heavy weights," DeLoach told New Beauty in 2025. "That has been one of the single biggest things that I have done to change my body and to give me longevity." Strength training improves overall health by building muscle mass, strengthening bones, and boosting metabolism. Plus, it can make you leaner and stronger. In addition to heavy weight lifting, DeLoach prioritizes rest with eight hours of sleep nightly and hydration by drinking lots of water. (Although, our dermatologist shared that the best drink to stay hydrated and keep your skin radiant is actually dairy milk.)
DeLoach's appearance served as a testament to her self-care routine when she attended the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation's May 2026 Gracie Awards Gala. The actor, who turned 46 in September 2025, posed for photos wearing a high-neck, sleeveless blue satin dress, showing off her toned arms and cinched waistline. Even if strength training may improve mental health and mood by reducing anxiety and improving memory, the "Home Turf" actor has another strategy to keep her spirits high.

Nikki DeLoach, a fresh-faced beauty when makeup-free, also relies on movement to process her emotions, incorporating dancing into her daily schedule. "I was a dancer for 20 years," the actor told People in 2025. "I didn't realize that ... as a child ... I was actually moving pain and trauma out of my body. Now, as an adult ... who's gone through trauma therapy, I realize that we have to move to release ... So I have just been dancing my whole life." After a dance break, the Hallmark star says she feels more prepared to take on life's challenges. This practice is also something she encourages her husband Ryan Goodell and their sons Hudson, 11, and Bennett, 8, to do, turning on music to boost moods in her home.
DeLoach encourages others to remember to carve out time for self-care throughout their day to improve longevity and holistic wellness. "If we want to live long, fruitful lives where we get to experience that joy every day, we have to get our sleep, eat well, move our bodies and be in community with the people we love," the "Curious Caterer" actor shared with Flow Space in 2025.
Of course, DeLoach isn't the only TV actor with great self-care habits. With her fit figure and glowing skin, Hallmark star Barbara Niven is still a blond bombshell in her 70s.
