Having brought us "Mean Girls" and "30 Rock," Tina Fey has established herself as a Hollywood comedic heavyweight. Born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, in May 1970, the writer and comedian rose to prominence through "Saturday Night Live" before making a name for herself in several other projects, from Netflix's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" to Disney's "Soul." In 2005, she briefly stepped away from her career to welcome her first child with husband Jeff Richmond, a daughter named Alice Zenobia. Having to jump right back into work — which was thriving at that point — gave her an intimate knowledge of the realities of being a working parent. 

In 2011, Fey had her second daughter, Penelope Athena, and spent the following decade juggling motherhood with the career she'd worked hard for. While this inspired her comedy in many ways, leading to numerous funny quotes about the less glamorous side of having children, it also gave her an inspiring perspective on handling the balance between work and parenting.
