7 Flashy Dolly Parton Manicures That Secured Her Spot As The Queen Of Acrylics

Dolly Parton will be remembered for many things — her philanthropy, musical talent, and unapologetically bold blond wigs chief among them. Nails with metallic or frosted top coats were all the rage in the '80s; while Parton often said that she didn't follow trends, she was certainly ahead of the curve with this manicure.

One of Dolly Parton's most unique manicures served as her go-to look between 2022 and 2023. For the entire year, the "I Will Always Love You" singer rocked half hot pink, half red acrylic nails with a silver stripe separating the two colors for public appearances. The bright manicure combined both of Parton's favorite nail colors in one eye-catching look. For her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, she paired the bold nails with a black and silver striped gown.

Performing at the Glastonbury Festival in 2014, Parton took to the stage while showing off her sparkly red nails — which complemented her blinged-out blouse, gaudy rings, and bedazzled sheer gloves perfectly.
