Christine Alexander

• Christine is a published author of fiction and poetry, and has taught creative writing at the college level, where she often folds pop culture and celebrity references into the learning material.
• As a child of the '80s, she loves writing about vintage fashion and makeup trends.
• In addition to writing and editing, Christine has worked as a stylist primarily for women in the Boston area who were newly entering the workforce.

Experience

Christine has worked as a writer and editor for over 15 years. She has written textbook material for students learning English in Korea, she was a features writer and editor for The Pop Topic, and a list editor for The Things. Her creative writing has been published in many literary journals including Wigleaf and The Los Angeles Review. She has also worked as an adjunct professor of creative writing at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After receiving her MFA from Lesley University in 2022, Christine began writing features for Nicki Swift and The List, then later assumed the role of editor for Glam News. In addition to her many published works, Christine has also appeared in several short films and music videos, which helped inspire her makeup and fashion journey. As a former stylist herself, she brings an artistic eye to her editing role at Glam, and enjoying covering everything from outrageous beauty trends to celebrity news and fashion faux pas.

Education

Christine earned her bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She went on to receive a master's degree from Lesley University.
