Experience
Mayra started her writing career in college, where she wrote hundreds of essays, honing her research, writing, and editing skills. Her first few entry-level jobs were in copywriting, which sparked little joy until 2021, when CBR gave her the chance to use her skills to talk about two of her passions: pop culture and comics. In June 2026, she joined Glam, where she now gets to learn about all things lifestyle and celebs when editing very talented writers.
Education
Mayra graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico with honors, earning a bachelor's degree in literature and linguistics.
