Contouring, especially on your nose, can make or break a look. "Nose contouring cinches the most pronounced feature of the face and for some people, it can make them feel more confident if they're insecure about the shape or size of their nose," Makeup by Mario CEO Mario Dedivanovic explained to Byrdie. "Be careful in the daylight, however, as a contoured nose really looks best under lights or for photos." As Dedivanovic drives home, contouring in this area can prove challenging to master. We'll take any approach that makes the process easier, so we jumped at the chance to learn an easy-to-replicate nose contour trick shared by makeup artist and entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury and fashion designer and beauty maven Victoria Beckham.

Tilbury's approach, which she has used on Beckham for years, is the contour hack to try if you love the button-nose look. During a friendly, holiday-themed chat with Beckham, Tilbury demonstrated the strategy on her official YouTube channel. So, forget the rhinoplasty and give this nose contouring tip a go. All you need to get started is a bronzer, a highlighter, and a pair of brushes. Before you know it, you'll be on your way to achieving Posh Spice's beautiful button-nose look for yourself.

Skip the nose job with this easy contour hack

Opening up during the video, Charlotte Tilbury and Victoria Beckham both revealed that they have fielded questions about potential rhinoplasty. However, they insisted that they didn't need surgery thanks to Tilbury's "nose trick," which the makeup artist exhibited on Beckham. "It just gives you a button nose, which you've got a gorgeous little button nose," she told the designer.

So, how does the hack work? Anyone who has delved into the world of contour will already be familiar with Tilbury's U-shaped approach, which she pulls off with the Filmstar Bronze and Glow ($68) from her makeup line. "Take my blender brush and put that down the side of the nose, then just go under like a little u-turn and then down the other side of the nose," she explains.

Tilbury's use of highlighter from the Filmstar pallet takes this hack to the next level. "And then, this is my little exclamation trick," she states. "You take the smudger brush, dipping it into the highlighter and you do a line down the center. The break, and do a little dot. It just gives you a button nose." Nose contouring has never looked so easy.

Beckham uses her own products to achieve the same look

Though this trick is Charlotte Tilbury's, it can easily be achieved with any contouring product or highlighter. In fact, Victoria Beckham admitted that the reason for her button nose "is the nose trick. And that's where I love my Bronzing Brick ($58). Each compact has two different tones so you can use it to contour as well as to bronze." She then gifted Tilbury a personalized Bronzing Brick of her own.

While speaking to Hello Magazine, Beckham also praised her beauty brand's Beauty Contour Stylus ($38). "Our Contour Stylus is exactly what I have been searching for—a to-the-point, stylus-style precision stick that puts you in control of sculpting and defining your features," she gushed. "It's easy to apply—especially for a chiseled nose and cheekbones, blends effortlessly, and is amazing for touch-ups throughout the day. With its slim profile, it goes with me everywhere. I think of it as my pocket contour."

Of course, you don't have to go with the Charlotte Tilbury and Victoria Beckham product lines for this nose contour hack. Pick up the NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow Icy Highlighter Duo for $11.99 from your local Target if you prefer more affordable drugstore brands. The compact has earned 4.5 out of 5 stars from over 400 guest reviews, with many users complimenting its staying power and overall value for the price.
