Lawrence addressed the controversy during an interview on "The Howard Stern Show," saying, "It was a fabulous dress — I wasn't going to cover it up in a f–king coat. And also, I shoot in below-freezing weather in record-breaking winters, I can stand outside for 90 seconds in a dress" (via Harper's Bazaar). The star added that just because she was showing skin in the cold didn't mean she wasn't a feminist — and that anyone claiming otherwise was "being annoying as f–k." And we have to give it to J-Law — we couldn't agree more: The dress looks stunning on her, and if she wanted to wear it (even in the cold), she had every right to!

2021 marked an important year as Jennifer Lawrence was pregnant with her and art gallery director Cooke Maroney's child. I don't think she wears things that are too short, too young or too tight: Her personality speaks for itself, and she does have a great personality, so she doesn't have to rely on crazy cutouts or colors." While the star always looks flawless, Lawrence has told The Kit that she prefers getting ready quickly. "I always think it's elegant to get ready quickly," the actor admitted, adding that Nicole Kidman in "Eyes Wide Shut" is the reason she prefers "effortless beauty."
