What Lara Trump Looks Like Makeup-Free

As the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, Lara Trump has graced the world stage since 2016. The former pastry chef and personal trainer entered the family in 2014, when she tied the knot with Donald's second son, Eric, but as the family moved into politics, her role shifted. Lara was a campaign advisor for both of her father-in-law's presidential runs; she appeared as a paid contributor on Fox News in 2021 and 2022; and in 2025, her own show on the network was announced. 

With such a public-facing profile, Lara always looks her best. That usually means a beat face, with her signature makeup look involving earthy eyeshadow, black liner, and dramatic falsies — she certainly knows how to use false lashes to make her eyes appear larger. And judging from a February 2025 Instagram post that showed her daughter, Carolina, experimenting with an eyelash curler, a passion for cosmetics is something that likely runs in the family. 

When she's hosting her show, making politics-related appearances, or promoting her Lara Trump Collection activewear, Lara understandably opts for the glam-squad vibe the majority of the time. Still, there have been a few times when she's gone completely makeup-free. Like many of the Trump women who go makeup-free when the occasion calls for it, she's not afraid to show off her glowing, filter-free skin when she's posting snaps from vacations with the kids, relaxed date nights with husband Eric, and her best sporting moments. Now, just as we previously uncovered what fellow political commentator Megyn Kelly looks like makeup-free, we're moving the spotlight to Lara's best fresh-faced moments. 

With Donald Trump in his second term, Lara Trump has taken on more of a central role in her public-facing duties. But while she isn't seen makeup-free as frequently these days, there are plenty of posts from earlier on her Instagram profile that show her looking fresh-faced. One that stands out is a gym selfie taken in December 2023 in which Lara is posing with a friend and a little dog clutched in her arm. Speaking of dogs, the Fox News host also wiped off the makeup back in May 2022 when she posted a carousel of photos in tribute to her pet dog, Ben. In the first photo, Lara is wearing her hair in a relaxed but neat bun and looks to be completely makeup-free as she cuddles the gorgeous beagle.

The previous December, Lara appeared in a few snaps from a getaway to the Dominican Republic, and while she appeared in her usual glam makeup for most of them, we did see her makeup-free for a romantic beach photo with Eric Trump. And a few months before that in October '21, she posted a selection of photos with the caption, "When mini golf turns into a monsoon." Posing with her kids and some friends, Lara went without a hint of makeup and looked flawless. 

Other than vacations, the majority of the pictures in which Lara goes without makeup are sports or fitness-related — the TV personality probably understands how makeup can clog your skin when you break a sweat. We saw her bare-faced in November '21 when she took place in a running event in Florida and again in a group gym selfie that August. It seems Lara also ditches the products when she goes riding, appearing makeup-free in an April '21 photo with her horse. Overall, even without her glam squad, Lara is radiant not just in her skin but also in her confidence.
