What Judge Jeanine Pirro Looks Like Makeup-Free

When it comes to makeup, different strokes for different folks is the golden rule. Some people are determined to perfect their soft-glam look, while others lean toward more intense makeup hacks that make their eyes look bigger. For Jeanine Pirro, the interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, the preference is clearly beat. Her profile has risen considerably since she was sworn into her new role in 2025, following the withdrawal of Donald Trump's initial pick, Ed Martin, who was slammed for defending the January 6 riots. And with the increased national presence, Pirro is building a public image that's strongly associated with dark eye makeup and heavy coverage. As such, makeup-free photos of Judge Jeanine, who was once a county prosecutor before moving to Fox News in 2006, are often quite different from how we usually see her.

Despite gaining a reputation for her heavy makeup, Pirro isn't ashamed to go bare-faced before the world — and nor should she be. Along with posting the occasional makeup-free snap with her dog on Instagram, she often takes to social media to speak candidly to her followers in short reels without putting on makeup before filming herself. Whether she's on a plane filming videos or in her own office, makeup isn't the priority, and these opportunities give her followers the chance to see what she looks like without all the product. And while the common misconception tells us that people opt for heavy makeup because they have insecurities that they want to hide, Pirro looks fresh and beautiful without all the products and doesn't seem to be hiding behind anything.

Jeanine Pirro isn't afraid to go bare-faced

Judging from the amount of makeup-free content on Jeanine Pirro's Instagram, she's clearly not afraid to go bare-faced (despite her preference for heavy coverage when she does make herself up). In September 2024, she posted a reel to Instagram in tribute of the 9/11 anniversary in which she appeared with her hair hastily pulled back and with little to no makeup. While she didn't seem to have put as much effort into her look as usual, the footage shows a natural flush to her cheeks.

Fast-forward to February 2025, and Pirro shared a photo to Instagram of her and dog Doodle after a workout. In the photo, Pirro lies exhausted on the floor in gym clothes without her usual coverage. But her makeup-free skin is even clearer in a December 2024 post in which she's once again giving her followers an update, this time on Donald Trump's election case. Again, other than a natural flush to her cheeks, her complexion appears clear and even, and her eyes far less intense without the makeup. "Love seeing you bare faced! Gorgeous with makeup and without!" one fan commented on the video. "I was just thinking the same thing how good she looks without makeup," another replied to the comment. Pirro's case is a good example of how insecurities don't necessarily drive makeup preferences. We're all free to wear as much or as little as we like, and it doesn't have to say a thing about us. Of course, Pirro isn't the only woman in her position to proudly go bare-faced. Here's what these Fox News anchors look like makeup-free.
