How Ivanka Trump Keeps Her Stunning Figure

It's a good thing that Ivanka Trump didn't head back to Washington for her father's second term in office. Aside from Ivanka Trump's latest fashion choices that tell us she can't be bothered with politics, we're not sure how she'd find the time to also advise the president between socializing, vacationing, parenting, and Instagram influencing. Oh, and add exercising to that list of busy to-dos. Among the reels of fabulous living, Ivanka also frequently posts photos of her getting her sweat on, both in the gym and out in nature.

And the fruits of her labor show. The former model and mother of three, who turns 44 in October 2025, looks toned and healthy. So what's her secret to maintaining her stunning figure? Variety and dedication, broadly. More specifically, she does the following, which she posted to her Instagram: Weightlifting and resistance training three to four days per week, once-weekly yoga, a few 10-minute HIIT (high-intensity interval training) sessions, like sprints, "to keep my cardiovascular fitness sharp and dynamic," she wrote. She acknowledged that her workout routine is what works for her, adding that "what works is what you will actually do consistently." She may not be a certified expert, but that's actually sound advice for how to stick with your fitness class once and for all.

Ivanka Trump is one of many celebs who stay in shape with jiu jitsu

Ivanka Trump doesn't just do strength training, yoga, and HIIT to keep her stunning figure in shape. She also adds a variety of other activities that keep her fit, including a lot of family activities, such as skiing, swimming, surfing, paddle tennis, hiking, and golf (because are you a Trump if you don't golf?). Another thing she's gotten her kids into is jiu jitsu, the Brazilian martial arts practice.

The first daughter has been a jiu jitsu devotee since her early 40s, training with the Valente brothers in Miami. If that name sounds familiar, it's because that's where Giselle Bündchen also trains with her partner, co-owner Joaquim Valente. The list of jiu jitsu fans goes beyond these two tall beauties: Scarlett Johansson, Demi Lovato, Sydney Sweeney, Henry Cavill, Robert Pattinson, Usher, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Tom Hardy are just a few more bold-faced names on the list of celebs who do jiu jitsu.

Ivanka currently has a blue belt. There are five belt levels and each belt has five levels to get through. The belts are white, blue, purple, brown, and black. Bündchen holds a purple belt, as does Demi Lovato.

Besides exercise, Ivanka Trump says protein has made all the difference

Ivanka Trump credits adding more intense and regular strength training into her routine once she moved to Miami, but also attests that the other big contributing factor to how she keeps her stunning figure looking its best is protein. As she wrote on Instagram in October 2024, "Also new for me but critical to my progress has been increasing my protein intake dramatically. I now consume between 30-50 grams of protein a meal. It works ... I've never been stronger!"

A quick and easy method of incorporating protein powder into your diet in a healthy way, and ticking the box of kicking off a healthy lifestyle with a well-balanced breakfast, is to have a smoothie like Ivanka does. "I try to make my own breakfast as quick and impactful as possible," she told the "Skinny Confidential" podcast.

Ivanka, who is known to hit some of Miami's most lavish restaurants on date nights with husband Jared Kushner, or with her high-society friends, occasionally posts pics of what she's eating. Not surprisingly, protein-rich salads feature prominently. But that's not to say that there aren't carbs in the Kushner-Trump household. Donuts especially seem to be a thing with the family of five. Surely it's only a matter of time before a post with a high-protein donut makes an appearance in Ivanka's posts.
