Pam Bondi's Most Inappropriate Outfits So Far
Attorney General Pam Bondi has made odd choices with her sense of style. When it comes to Bondi's wardrobe, many of her clothes are, quite frankly, unstylish. From the pantsuits and monochromatic bright colors to dresses with too much embellishment and so many turtlenecks, Pam Bondi loves to wear outdated outfits that make us wonder: What is she thinking? Too often, it looks like the clothes are wearing her when it should be the other way around. She clearly wants to look professional without compromising femininity, but that doesn't mean she has to sacrifice all fashion rules in the process.
Bondi could use some serious guidance when it comes to picking the right clothes since a lot of her style choices feel so wrong. Sometimes Bondi's outfits are too revealing, and other times they are simply not right for the setting that she's in. She'd be wise to consider wardrobe possibilities that would look good with her signature straight blond hair. (Have you seen this throwback pic where Pam Bondi is almost unrecognizable with darker hair?). Sadly, this isn't a new problem — Bondi has been wearing improper outfits for years now, with some particularly unfortunate selections in her past.
Pam Bondi couldn't manifest sunshine on a rainy day
During the 2012 presidential election, Pam Bondi took to the streets to campaign for Mitt Romney. She was clearly hoping for clear skies when she wore a mustard tweed jacket and yellow camisole tank top underneath with a long bohemian necklace. She paired the outfit with skinny jeans and peep-toe high heels. But the weather wasn't ideal, and Bondi looked out of place in her summer-inspired ensemble when the rain came down. The drizzle made her outerwear look like an old, crusty couch right out of the 1960s.
Pam Bondi forgot the biggest rule of attending a wedding
At a friend's wedding party in 2013, Pam Bondi couldn't stop herself from making a fashion faux pas. Rule number one of what not to wear to a wedding: Avoid wearing white at all costs. Bondi's dress of choice was primarily black but with a white neckline and straps, plus a random sash of white included on the skirt. Her beyond-basic outfit already felt much too casual for a wedding, and the simple silhouette in a tired color choice only made the white elements draw the eye even more.
Pam Bondi's bright skirt distracted from her support of the Gators
If you're going to support your favorite team by wearing their signature colors, make sure you do it right. Pam Bondi showed her spirit for the Florida Gators in 2014 by wearing one of their team colors in the form of a loud orange shirt. The pattern of her skirt was blue, brown, and busy, so much so that it's hard to make out exactly what the design is supposed to be. At any other event, this would have just been a "worst-dressed" contender, but given that it muddled her team colors, it was just inappropriate.
Pam Bondi's belted sweater was out of place in a room of suits
Pam Bondi just can't figure out how to dress when supporting her beloved Gators. At Gator Day 2016, Bondi tried to combine casual dressing with preppy style and an element of sportiness ... but it all fell flat. She wore a highly textured gray sweater top with slacks. The sweater included huge buttons that looked heavy and large overlapping lapels that fell on her shoulders. It also featured a confusing black-and-orange ombré-tinted bowtie belt across the middle. Surrounded by other attendees that were wearing suits, Bondi's sweater choice looked juvenile for the setting.
Pastels and psychedelics didn't mix when Pam Bondi met up with the first family
Pam Bondi smiled when she greeted President Donald Trump and first daughter Ivanka Trump as they stepped off Air Force One in 2018. She kept her style ladylike by wearing a pale-pink suit jacket. The solid color looked crisp and clean, but couldn't mask the outlandish shirt Bondi was wearing under it. Her low-cut scoop-neck shirt included large florals with varying colors of pink and green against a sky-blue backdrop. The visuals of her shirt were huge and distracting, looking cartoonish and out of place during a presidential visit
Did Pam Bondi try to combine congressional with clubwear?
During Donald Trump's impeachment trial of 2020, Pam Bondi made her speech in an outfit that looked like it was straight out of the age of 1970s disco-mania. Bondi looked like a disco ball herself in what appeared to be a sparkling dark-gray dress with a matching jacket and a panel of white glitter fabric overlay on the torso. The shimmery ensemble was far too distracting and looked too party-like for addressing the Senate Committee. Bondi, whose bangs rested on the side of her face, could've headed out for a night on the town immediately after.
Pam Bondi's shirt dress showed too much skin for a sports event
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl in 2021 and somehow Pam Bondi and her husband got their hands on the trophy. For the occasion, Bondi wore a white shirt dress with lace detail on the sleeves and bodice. The bohemian garment is an odd choice for a winter sports celebration, but more importantly, the lace pattern's cutouts of fabric left quite a bit of Bondi's chest exposed. A simple camisole should've been added underneath to make the dress less revealing for the family-friendly bash.
Too much leg from Pam Bondi feels cheap
An Americana color scheme is great if you're planning to dress patriotically. But trying to make it look sexy is in poor taste for professional settings. Case in point: Pam Bondi's ensemble when campaigning for Donald Trump in October 2016. She took the stage in a navy-blue sweater with elements of red and white, and paired it with a red, white, and blue striped skirt. But the skirt included a slit that was way too revealing for a political event. Bondi needs to learn how to wear a high-slit dress without baring it all.
