Julianne Hough's Sisters Are Absolutely Gorgeous

Blond beauty Julianne Hough is the definition of a multi-hyphenate. She began her career as a dancer, winning her first two seasons of "Dancing with the Stars." Her time with the show didn't end there, though. Julianne Hough's major "DWTS" transformation leading up to Season 34 had fans everywhere speechless; after all, she's grown into a quadruple threat by becoming an actor, singer, and television host in addition to a dancer.

Hough came from humble beginnings in Utah, where she was the youngest of five siblings. It's clear that talent runs in the family, too, as brother Derek Hough has been a champion and judge on "Dancing with the Stars" and a host on "Extra." Julianne explained during a 2025 appearance on the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast that the family was raised Mormon, and she and her siblings were involved in many extracurricular activities. "My three older sisters, they all danced and sang and acted. And we were in a band," she recalled. Julianne pointed out that as the Hough kids grew up, they would ultimately go on "different paths."

Another trait that's shared throughout the Hough family is how stunning the siblings are. They each bare a striking resemblance to one another, including their gorgeous smiles and natural blond hair. In photographs, it's hard to tell which siblings are the oldest since they all look so similar. Julianne and Derek may spend the most time in the spotlight, but the other Hough siblings are equally beautiful and impressive.

Eldest daughter Sharee Hough loves her big family and fitness

Sharee Hough, 48, is the oldest of the five siblings. Julianne Hough mentioned of her eldest sister during her "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast appearance, "She started in the Mormon way. So she got married at 19, and had six kids." Furthermore, the family dancing gene was present in Sharee in the form of ballet. She trained at the Ballet West Conservatory and went on to dance at the American Folk Ballet Company as a ballerina. In addition to raising her six children, Sharee pivoted from a life of dance to focusing on health and fitness. A certified fitness instructor, Sharee founded Hough Werks as a way to offer in-person and on-demand lessons.

There's no doubt that the love between Sharee and her siblings is being passed down to her own children. In August 2020, Sharee posted a sweet picture on Instagram of the Hough kin together by the water on a sunny day. "We may fight sometimes, disagree on issues sometimes, but I love these humans fiercely," she captioned the photo. What a beautiful tribute!

Marabeth could pass as Julianne Hough's doppelganger

Marabeth Poole, 44, is the second oldest of the Hough kids. On her "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast episode, Julianne Hough revealed that Marabeth moved to Nashville years ago to be a singer and songwriter. However, she's currently a mom and realtor, and she also lists "certified holistic health coach" in her Instagram bio. She once owned a spa in Tennessee called Natural Oasis Day Spa and Salon with her husband, but it has since shuttered.

Back in 2008, Marabeth visited Julianne at a music performance in Nashville. The two told Access Hollywood how they are often mistaken for twins. "I like it, she doesn't," the older sister quipped. The confusion continued in 2014 when Julianne took to Instagram to expose a mistake made by Life & Style Magazine. The magazine included a photo of brother Derek Hough on a beach vacation with his sisters — but while the magazine identified Julianne in the photo, it was actually Marabeth! Julianne couldn't help but laugh at the mix up, calling it "so funny!" Overall, Marabeth is the spitting image of her younger sister throughout every step of Julianne Hough's stunning style transformation — so much so that Marabeth once competed in a local competition called Dancing with the Nashville Stars!

Katherine Hough balances mom life and business

Middle daughter Katherine Hough is 43 and runs her own skincare treatment center called Skin by Katherine. Julianne Hough revealed on the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast that Katherine originally had dreams of becoming an actor, but it looks like she's more than happy to be in her chosen career. In 2020, Katherine wrote on Instagram, "I'm so very grateful for the career path I have chosen and where it has brought me!! I've been very fortunate for many years to call this my dream job!" On social media, Katherine seems to be the sibling who experiments the most with different hair colors, as she has gone from the family's recognizable blond to brown hair seamlessly.

In addition to working as an esthetician, Katherine has three daughters. Julianne explained in her podcast appearance how she's impressed by her sister's ability to balance her work and family life, calling Katherine "such a good, present mom." Sadly, Katherine has also dealt with tragedy, as her partner, Tony Schnur, passed away from glioblastoma in February 2023. As such, she uses her platform to advocate for glioblastoma research and awareness.

The Hough family stays together through tough times

The Hough siblings share an unbreakable bond and love spending time with each other despite living apart when they were kids. Following their parents' divorce, youngest siblings Julianne and Derek Hough lived in London to study dance. On the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast, Julianne said, "Derek and I were always so close because we had shared experiences." She added that her three older sisters grew up as a unit, while Julianne was on the outside of because of her age and time away from home. They've all also become mothers, while Julianne seemingly enjoys the single life.

Still, the youngest sister insists that they're all supportive of one another despite their different careers and interests. "There's no jealousy, but there's is a sadness that maybe there wasn't an opportunity for them [to make it as performers]," Julianne explained on the podcast. But the five siblings are quick to share the love and appreciation that they have for each another. "They have great lives and they love their life," she added. Julianne even shared the big screen with her older sisters when they all danced alongside her during her breakout role in the 2011 remake of "Footloose."
