The Leading Ladies Of KPop Demon Hunters Are Gorgeous In Real Life

Since "KPop Demon Hunters" launched on Netflix on June 20, 2025, the animated musical has become a worldwide sensation. Just about everybody has heard the song "Golden," a certifiable earworm that has gone platinum in the U.S. The melodic flick follows three Korean singers — Rumi, Zoey, and Mira — in the K-pop group Huntr/x, who use their vocal prowess to fight off demons. The titular hunters are voiced by Arden Cho, Ji-young Yoo, and May Hong, respectively, aka famous faces you may recognize. And we can't forget about these beloved characters' singing voices, either. Ejae, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna, respectively, are becoming just as popular, having made appearances on "Saturday Night Live" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" since the film's release.

It's always fun to see the voices behind animated characters, and although the actors and singers don't sport colorful hair or wield demon-slaying weapons, they're still beyond gorgeous. In fact, they have such cool styles that they could become pop culture icons you should let influence your wardrobe. With that said, here's a look at the real-life faces behind Netflix's record-breaking "KPop Demon Hunters."

Arden Cho was already a Netflix leading lady before KPop Demon Hunters

Arden Cho has been in the acting world for a long time, and you may know her as the star of Netflix's "Partner Track." You've probably also seen her in "Chicago Med" and "Teen Wolf," but, of course, she's now known as the voice behind Rumi in "KPop Demon Hunters." Aside from not having purple hair, Cho looks similar to her character and could easily play Rumi if a live-action version were ever produced. In a hilarious behind-the-scenes clip of her in the studio yelling during a scene, which was posted on Instagram a few weeks before the film's release in June 2025, Cho joked, "Rumi slays. My recording face? Not so much." We think she's always gorgeous, but alas.

Ji-young Yoo looks great in blunt baby bangs just like Zoey

As the rapper of Huntr/x in "KPop Demon Hunters," Zoey has a unique style, which includes blunt bangs that are straight out of the Tumblr twee renaissance. Actor Ji-young Yoo, who's the speaking voice behind Zoey, looked just like her when she showed off her own version of choppy baby bangs in an April 2025 Instagram post. While this hairstyle was for her next film, "Freaky Tales," it was definitely reminiscent of her "KPop Demon Hunters" character. And just like Zoey, Yoo has an eclectic fashion sense, making her an ultimate cool girl.

Mira actor May Hong has that lit-from-within glow

Just like her "KPop Demon Hunters" character, May Hong is fierce and outspoken — in all the best ways, of course. Having started out as a model, Hong has perfected her skincare routine to nail the no-makeup makeup look like a pro. In fact, she told Into the Gloss, "I'm obsessed with skincare. It's fun, it smells good, it's ritualistic. Hyperpigmentation is my biggest concern because, melanin, and I'm a picker, which is horrible." Hong relies on double cleansing to get her skin as clean as possible and then applies toner, followed by a facial oil. Simple, yet so effective!

Ejae's looks are just as angelic as her voice

Ejae isn't just the lender of Rumi's singing voice; she's also the mastermind behind the melody of "Golden." She revealed on "Good Morning America" in early September 2025 that she came up with the tune on the way to the dentist and hummed it into her phone. After sharing it with "KPop Demon Hunters" composer Mark Sonnenblick, the two created the hit song. Even by demonstrating a couple of the lines, Ejae's vocal talent was super evident, and her smile lit up the room as she recalled realizing that "Golden" was a "banger."

Zoey singer Rei Ami is all about edgy fashion

Zoey of "KPop Demon Hunters" loves cutesy clothing, but the singing voice behind her character, Rei Ami, loves pushing the envelope with her edgy fashion. At the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, Ami rocked out in a short fringed leather skirt, a tiny black top, and a shaggy, maroon-colored shrug. Adding to her goth look was a pair of studded black knee-high boots with super-pointy toes. On September 30, 2025, the singer shared a TikTok video of her OOTD for the film's press tour. Wearing a cropped black leather jacket and white boots, she said, "Can we just appreciate the 'fit?" We sure can!

Audrey Nuna gave a playful nod to her KPop Demon Hunters character at the 2025 MTV VMAs

In "KPop Demon Hunters," Mira wears a black sleeping bag to the Met Gala, and Audrey Nuna made a playful reference to her character by draping herself with a large puffer coat at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. Nuna completed her ensemble with a black leather halter top, ginormous thigh-high boots, and pigtails shaped in halos at the sides of her head. Netflix gave the singer's outfit a shoutout on Facebook, writing, "Who else could wear a sleeping bag to the VMAs???" And one fan replied, "Brilliant ... way to literally embrace her character!!!"
