Elizabeth Olsen Looks Even More Like Her Sisters Without Makeup

Over the last decade and a half, the world has learned — and loved — that there's a third Olsen sister. We knew about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who rose to fame as toddlers on "Full House" and are the creative minds behind beloved fashion brand The Row. But it wasn't until the 2011 thriller movie "Martha Marcy May Marlene" that many folks began putting the twins' younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, on their radars. From there, her Hollywood star shot upward when she was given a role in the Marvel universe, where she's portrayed Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, in both TV and film since 2015.

Beyond her acting credits, the youngest Olsen, who turned 36 in 2025 (her sisters turned 39), is also known for her beautiful skin. On the red carpet, she doesn't shy away from makeup, though her looks are never over the top with dramatically thick fake lashes or caked-on contouring. It's soft and subtle, but it's definitely there.

Olsen tends to stay out of the limelight unless she's promoting a project — she even kept her 2019 marriage to musician Robbie Arnett under wraps for years. As such, we're not used to seeing her out and about without makeup, though there are plenty of times that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen went makeup-free and looked flawless. Still, we've seen a few pictures of Elizabeth makeup-free, like some at LAX airport in 2016, and she looks even more like her famous sisters in them.

Mary-Kate and Ashley have influenced Elizabeth Olsen's skincare routine

Elizabeth Olsen has said before that she wanted to have a normal childhood, but did have the acting bug from a young age — and she got just that. "Other than the fact that, like, kids in our house were working, it felt very much like a strict, disciplined household. My sisters always went to a school," the "WandaVision" star told InStyle in October 2025. Undoubtedly, her sisters introduced her to show business and helped pave the way for a career in Hollywood, but whereas Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who have undergone a stunning style transformation, have been lumped together as one throughout their careers, the younger Olsen sister has made a name of her own.

While we can see the family resemblance when the three women are photographed together, as they were at a fashion event in Los Angeles in 2016 (pictured above), it's uncanny how much the shared DNA is noticeable when Elizabeth is without makeup. One thing they all share is a beautiful complexion, which is another area where her sisters have been influential coaches. The "Eternity" actor told Harper's Bazaar in May 2022 that her sisters introduce her to new skincare products: "We love our skincare!" she enthusiastically told the outlet. The older sibs also suggested that she see a facialist regularly, which she started doing in her late 20s.

How Elizabeth Olsen keeps her skin looking gorgeous

Elizabeth Olsen's makeup artist of 15 years, Gita Bass, once wrote on Instagram, "Seriously, no one takes better care of their skin, not only with products but holistically as well. And it shows." The "His Three Daughters" star sees Los Angeles-based facialist Yonat Zilberg, and this is where Olsen spends her Marvel earnings. After all, she told InStyle, "I'll spend money, but it's not on clothes; it's on skin products, it's on lasers. I don't want to do anything crazy to my face, so I invest in its elasticity."

According to a May 2022 chat with Harper's Bazaar, Olsen likes getting peels, and she also likes the serum and moisturizer from Future Cosmetics. Another serum she likes, per an Instagram video with InStyle, is the Bioeffect EGF Day Serum. Olsen also told CNN that May that she likes 111Skin face masks, and if the UV index is above 2, she'll wear Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40

Products aside, the actor is diligent about washing her face no matter what, even if she's filming until the wee hours of the morning, because she's well aware of what happens to your skin when you stop washing your face. Overall, it seems like a little sisterly advice has had a positive impact on Elizabeth.
