Julia Roberts' Daughter Has Grown Up To Be Gorgeous
No one has ever doubted that "Pretty Woman" Julia Roberts would produce an attractive daughter. But a look at pics of Hazel Moder through the years confirms that she has indeed grown up to be gorgeous. Roberts and her husband since 2002, cinematographer Danny Moder, have consciously kept their children out of the limelight as much as possible. That includes minimal social media posting about their three offspring, who include Hazel's twin Phinnaeus, and Henry, who is three years younger than the twins. But Roberts couldn't resist acknowledging her twins' 21st birthdays at the end of November 2025, posting an Instagram tribute to the duo with a photo of them as babies.
The picture shows youngster Hazel seated in a highchair with a big grin on her face, with the beginnings of what will be her blond hair. In a photo of the family-of-five taken in Malibu in 2015 when the twins were 10, we can see Hazel's beautiful, shiny glass hair (which was trending in 2023), in all its glory, and her glistening blue eyes, which she didn't inherit from her mother; Roberts has brown eyes, while Moder has pale blue-green eyes. Based on this pic, we'd cast her as a young Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, not a young Julia Roberts.
Hazel Moder grew up in a low-key environment
Julia Roberts and Danny Moder, both part of the entertainment industry, appear to have succeeded in raising their children out of Hollywood's glaring limelight in Malibu and a ranch in New Mexico. Embracing the slow life includes minimal social media use for all of them.
While Roberts has kept her social media posting about her three children to a minimum, despite her 2025 birthday post, Moder has posted slightly more regularly, giving us glimpses of Hazel as she's grown up. For example, in an October 2017 post dedicated to his wife's 50th birthday, in what appears to be near San Francisco, we can see Hazel in a black hoodie and leggings, with her signature blond locks pulled into a ponytail. One of Moder's followers wrote, "Your daughter looks just like her mama." There are definitely differences, but Hazel's wide smile certainly comes from her mother's genetics.
In another post from November 2021, dedicated to the twins turning 17, fans debated whether Hazel looks more like her mom or her dad. One follower speculated that she resembled her cousin, actor Emma Roberts, while another commented, "She looks a little like Anna Sophia Robb." Comparisons are inevitable in every family, but even more so in a celebrity one.
Julia Roberts' daughter has made her red-carpet debut
She may not necessarily be one of the celebrity kids who inherited their parents' famous style, but Hazel Moder is still set to inherit a few coveted pieces from Julia Roberts. The "Erin Brockovich" star has kept a number of her most cherished outfits for Hazel to have one day, including the legendary black-with-white-edging Valentino gown she wore to collect her Oscar in 2001.
In a rare red-carpet appearance, onlookers got a glimpse of Hazel's aesthetic when she hit the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021. At the age of 16, Hazel attended with her father Danny Moder, who was supporting his film "Flag Day." For the glam South of France affair, Hazel wore a pale-yellow lace button-up shirt dress, which she paired with age-appropriate chunky Mary Janes. For her beauty game, Hazel appeared to have minimal makeup and swept her hair up into an unfussy ponytail.
Can we expect more red carpets in Hazel's future? For now, it seems unlikely. Though she had a bit part in her mom's 2016 film "Mother's Day," Hazel doesn't appear to have acting ambitions. In fact, as of her 21st birthday, she was in her second year at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, studying philosophy.
