The Friends Cast's Kids Are All Grown Up Now
If you were around in the '90s, chances were that you had "Friends" playing on your television. The iconic sitcom ran for 10 years and remains a fan-favorite show, with memorable lines like "Pivot!" and "How you doin'?" being quoted to this day. The main cast consisted of six actors who were relatively unknown at the time but blew up after the success of the show: Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and the late Matthew Perry.
Just like their on-screen characters, the cast of "Friends," who gave us iconic beauty and fashion tips, has created families of their own. It's a well-known tidbit that Kudrow was pregnant in real life during Season 4, which was worked into her storyline. Years later, Cox was with child during Season 10, which she had to hide because her character was adopting a baby. It's hard to believe that the show ended in 2004, as Joey, Monica, Rachel, Chandler, Phoebe, and Ross are all immortalized in our minds. However, just taking a look at how some of the stars' kids have grown up since then will totally blow your mind.
Coco Arquette inherited Courteney Cox's gorgeous looks
As someone who grew up in the spotlight, Coco Arquette's stunning style transformation hasn't gone unnoticed. The now-21-year-old is even an inspiration to her mom, Courteney Cox, who told People in November 2025 that Coco helps her with getting glam. "She shows me how to do makeup really simply. She taught me how to wear blush," the "Scream" star explained. Cox shared that her daughter also gives her fashion advice and helped launch her body-care collection, Cocomoi, declaring, "She's the coolest girl I know."
Proving that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Arquette showed that she has the exact same smile that Cox is known for during an episode of "9 Months with Courteney Cox" in 2020. While giggling, she also prompted her mom, "Describe your pregnancy journey with me in three words." The "Friends" actor replied, "Exciting, emotional, great." Arquette looked like a younger version of Cox, one of many celebs who look totally different without fillers, with her long brunette hair and striking cheekbones. A fan who noticed the resemblance commented, "Wow! She looks like her mother when she was young. Watch Bruce [Springsteen's] 'Born In The U.S.A.' you'll see Courteney dancing with short hair."
Lisa Kudrow's son was on Friends even before he was born
Although Lisa Kudrow's son, 27-year-old Julian Murray Stern, whom she shares with husband Michel Stern, wasn't technically an actor on "Friends," he played a huge part in Seasons 4 and 5 when the actor's pregnancy was written into the show. As fans may remember, Kudrow's character, Phoebe Buffay, volunteered to be a surrogate for her brother and his wife, so her baby bump was all too real. Kudrow told People in July 2018 that the cast even made sure to include Julian during their pre-show ritual. "The six of us would do a huddle backstage and just say, 'All right, have a good show, love you love you love you love you,'" she shared. "And when I was pregnant, then they would say, 'Have a great show, love you, love you — love you, little Julian!' 'Cause we knew it was a boy and that was his name."
Now, Julian is no longer a kid running around the set of "Friends" and is into the arts just like his mom. He's an editor with "The Voiceless Man" and "Presley & Brock" under his belt, along with several other shorts. He also shares Kudrow's sense of humor and shared a story about intruding on a set to use Quentin Tarantino's camera. "I decided to stay on the set and film random stuff. I refused to leave and they tried to stop me from doing a dolly shot. Very rude. Apparently I ruined their entire production and cost them a ton of money. But it was worth it," he wrote in a September 2019 Instagram post. Hopefully, Julian was just joking!
Matt LeBlanc's daughter lives a low-key life
Matt LeBlanc, who played the lovable Joey Tribbiani on "Friends," shares one daughter with his ex-wife, Melissa McKnight. The two welcomed Marina LeBlanc in 2004, but they would soon face a devastating diagnosis for her: cortical dysplasia, a genetic brain condition that can cause seizures. "It was a very dark period. But I got through it. Don't they say what doesn't kill us makes us stronger?" he told the Mirror in February 2016. Matt largely stayed out of the public eye during that time, preferring to spend quality time with Marina, who's now 21 years old. "We make breakfast, go horseback riding, hiking, I really try to offset this computer age kid thing that's going on now with as much time outside. Spending time with her is the best thing I've ever done. We have a great bond, and it's the best thing in my life," he added to the outlet.
LeBlanc, who will be forever known as the "Friends" star who said "How you doin'?" has passed on the iconic line to his daughter. However, in an interview on "The Graham Norton Show," the actor hilariously revealed how Marina would troll him by saying, "How are you doing?" Despite attempts to correct her, she would still repeat the catchphrase wrong, and LeBlanc told the host, "We had these, like, long discussions about it. And I know she knows how to say it right!"
David Schwimmer's daughter is a talented artist like her mom
David Schwimmer doesn't often talk about his daughter, 14-year-old Cleo Buckman Schwimmer, but when he does, it's always with pride. He revealed to People in January 2025 how impressed he was by her painting of the late mathematician Alan Turing, sharing, "I was like, 'Da**, that's objectively pretty great.'" He and artist Zöe Buckman welcomed Cleo in May 2011, a year after their wedding, and the "Goosebumps: The Vanishing" star stepped into fatherhood with open arms. "Home is New York, and I really prioritize this chapter. My life is really about my daughter. I really think this is the most meaningful part of my life, this time with her. So I've limited my other travel because I want to be with her as much as possible," he revealed on "Table Manners with Jessie Ware" in February 2020.
Although David and Buckman are no longer married, the two co-parent peacefully and appear to have a friendly relationship. In a May 2022 Instagram post, the London native wished her daughter a happy birthday and added, "I personally want to also send thanks & praise to her Dad: my co-collaborator|the best co-parent. Without him being so present & on it with our kiddo, I wouldn't be able to commit so much of my creativity to my artistic practice right now."
