Nikki Glaser's Inappropriate 2024 Emmys After-Party Outfit Will Always Haunt Her

Aside from her ability to roast celebrities, comedian Nikki Glaser is particularly adept at pointing things out about herself and acknowledging hard truths in a candid way, and fans love her for it. She's openly discussed plans to get a face lift, and we have no doubts she'll be among the celebs to open up about their plastic surgery experience if she goes through with it. She's also acknowledged wardrobe malfunctions as they happen. But what about her penchant for sheer outfits? Over the past few years, it feels like the 2025 and 2026 Golden Globes host has been vying for a spot on the list of iconic celebrity naked dress moments, as she continues to lean into see-through outfits, including the dress she wore for an Emmys after-party in 2024.

But not everyone is here for it, and some found the after-party dress inappropriate. One Facebook user wrote, "Nothing left to the imagination. What's the point?" But others supported the vegan star, who has been open about confronting eating disorders that have plagued her. "She's freakin' forty and looks great," wrote one fan on a Reddit board. Another added, "I'd give that dress a 'big hell yeah' How can something cover someone up so well, but be totally revealing? It's next level sexy."

Nikki Glaser sure does love a revealing gown. The comedian wore another arguably inappropriate sheer dress that showed her undies at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. The Valdrin Sahiti gown featured sheer lace over a black brief and a blocked-out breast area. Glaser told Entertainment Tonight at the event that she had to have the dress let out a bit after she'd been eating "too much" popcorn leading up to the big night.

Although she didn't land on the list of worst-dressed celebs at the 2025 MTV VMAs, Glaser did raise a few eyebrows as she arrived at the show that's traditionally geared toward a young audience. Her Ludovic de Saint Sernin look followed in the vein of her Oscars outfit, with a sheer dress with blacked-out chest and visible undies. In this case, however, the undies were much skimpier than a brief. On Instagram the night of the event, she thanked her team for using "an entire roll of double-sided tape."
