In 2024, actor Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld's co-star in "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," shared his thoughts on X, and fans assumed that the message was intended for Steinfeld. "There's still more people to meet. More opportunities to come. And more chances to try. Live, learn, apply," the actor wrote. Soon after, he clarified that he didn't know his co-star got engaged, and that his message had nothing to do with her, per E! News. However, the online speculation about Steinfeld's happiness continued.

"Fans speculated about tension, but Moore later clarified that his remarks were taken out of context," Teresha Young tells us exclusively. "Since then, there's been no sign of drama or blurred boundaries," she adds. Of course, this wouldn't be the first (or last) time that the internet blows something out of proportion.

It's no secret that celebrity couples have plenty of additional problems that normal couples don't have to face. One of them is definitely navigating a relationship in the spotlight where everybody loves to give unsolicited advice, especially online. And while advice from close people can be useful, any advice can also be a projection of unhelpful opinions. Of course, remaining strong and in love through the storm of media and fan speculation isn't easy, but Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have been doing a great job.

In December 2025, Hailee Steinfeld revealed in a Substack post that she and Allen are expecting their first child by adding a video of her baby bump to her year-end roundup. A month earlier, Bustle published an interview with the actor in which she revealed that kids are definitely something she wants. "I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it's the greatest thing in the world," Steinfeld revealed. "Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I've always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him."

Some suspected that they rushed into parenthood, but this fast pace actually suggests that they're perfectly aligned. "Their journey from dating to marriage and now preparing for parenthood speaks volumes," Young reveals exclusively to Glam. "It points to alignment, shared values, and a willingness to grow together," the relationship coach adds. "No relationship is immune to bumps in the road, but at this stage, there's very little to suggest that early speculation is affecting them long-term. If anything, their story reflects stability, mutual respect, and a clear commitment to building a life together." While some believe that Steinfeld and Allen might not work out, the celebrity couple is seemingly happier and stronger with each passing day.
