How Landman Star Ali Larter's Face Has Transformed, According To Our Plastic Surgeon
In Hollywood, looking young no matter how many decades one has been in the industry is kind of the norm. And while some celebrities have opened up about their plastic surgery experiences, others are known to deny having had any work done, no matter how obvious the changes are. Of course, there are also celebrities who proudly show off their gray hair, accepting signs of aging without any interference. And then, there are those Hollywood stars who somehow seem frozen in time, having barely aged in the spotlight even though they have been there for decades. And one of them is "Landman" star Ali Larter.
Ali Larter's complete transformation happened right in front of our eyes, but the star's face pretty much remained the same since the '90s. Sure, there's a fine line here and there, but the actor hasn't really aged much. Now, since her youthfulness is kind of a mystery, we've enlisted the help of board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Richland Aesthetics and Richland MD, Dr. Brandon Richland. He revealed just what he thinks has helped Larter maintain her youthful features.
"When I look at Ali Larter's transformation over the years, I see a woman who has aged incredibly gracefully," Dr. Richland shares exclusively with Glam. "At 49, she still carries that fresh, athletic energy we first saw in 'Varsity Blues,' but there's a refined quality to her appearance now that suggests a very disciplined approach to aesthetics." The surgeon adds that Larter seems to be "a fan of high-end skin quality treatments rather than major surgery," adding that skincare treatments are crucial for her results. "Her skin has a beautiful glow, which usually points toward regular medical-grade facials, perhaps some growth factor serums, and potentially light chemical peels or laser resurfacing."
Ali Larter may have had small amounts of fillers and Botox injected
A side-by-side photo of Ali Larter in the late '90s and mid-2020s shows that the actor has slightly changed. However, the fine lines around her eyes and on her neck are minimal, and considering that the photos have been taken almost 30 years apart, her youthfulness is extraordinary. Now, we do notice that her hair has changed and that the actor is now fond of a slightly heavier makeup look, but what does the expert eye see?
"Looking at the structure of her face, her jawline remains remarkably crisp," Dr. Brandon Richland shares with us exclusively. "While she credits a lot of this to her juice, gym, steam, cream routine, and ice plunging, it's possible she's utilized conservative amounts of filler in the mid-face or temple area to support her bone structure," he explains. "This prevents the sagging that naturally happens as we lose volume in our late 40s."
The surgeon also believes that fillers aren't the only injectables that Larter might have used to maintain a plump and dewy look. "Her forehead and eye area are smooth yet expressive, a hallmark of expertly placed Botox," Dr. Richland tells us. "It doesn't look frozen; it just looks like she's well-rested." Barely being able to move your facial features is one of the signs you've gotten too much Botox, and as an actor, it's incredibly important to keep an expressive face. Unlike some of her fellow actors, Larter seems to prefer movement and a natural-looking approach to injectables, as any work she may have had done is undetectable to the untrained eye.
Ali Larter's forehead wrinkles have disappeared
In the 2000s, Ali Larter had slightly noticeable forehead wrinkles, which have since disappeared, supporting our expert's suggestion that the actor has received injectables. Ali Larter looks great today, but the star is approaching her 50s, and keeping her skin wrinkle-free and firm will be harder moving forward. "As she continues to age, the goal for someone like Ali should be preservation over alteration," Dr. Brandon Richland tells Glam exclusively, adding that "biostimulators like Sculptra or Radiesse" are the way to go for the "Final Destination" star. "These aren't traditional fillers; they actually encourage your own body to produce collagen, which keeps the skin looking bouncy and natural rather than pillowy." Dr. Richland explains that the actor's healthy lifestyle will go perfectly in hand with biostimulators. "Since she prioritizes strength training and running, her body is already primed to support this kind of cellular renewal," he adds, suggesting that she should "continue with the heavy occlusive moisturizers she's known for to protect her skin barrier."
Now, we've all seen that injectables can go way too far in Hollywood. In fact, some celebrities look totally different without fillers. And while Larter is by no means anywhere close to that, our expert advises caution. "Many actresses her age fall into the trap of trying to chase every single fine line with more filler, which eventually leads to a distorted facial shape," the plastic surgeon explains. "She has such iconic, strong bone structure that she should let those angles lead the way rather than trying to mask them." Ali Larter is one of the leading ladies of "Landman" who looks stunning without makeup, so we expect her to continue enhancing her natural beauty in the decades to come.
