When it comes to timeless beauties in the entertainment industry, actor Reese Witherspoon instantly comes to mind. She looks just as stunning today as she did when she had her breakthrough in the '90s, and what makes the star even more relatable is the fact that she isn't afraid of going makeup-free. While she isn't like Pamela Anderson, who has gone makeup-free and looked flawless on countless occasions, Witherspoon is a big fan of a natural look.

In January 2026, the "The Morning Show" star shared a candid photo on her Instagram Stories, sitting cross-legged on a large calendar that she was seemingly about to color-coordinate. And while the actor was simply sharing her fun project, her makeup-free skin was all we could look at. Witherspoon is middle-aged, but somehow, the mother of two looks years younger. In fact, if we didn't know better, we would think that she's her daughter Ava Elizabeth Phillippe 's older sister.

As someone who has worked in Hollywood for more than three decades, Witherspoon has been wearing plenty of makeup throughout the years. In 2019, the actor revealed that she goes to her daughter for makeup advice. "I learn a lot from my daughter [about makeup]," Witherspoon told People. "Her understanding of how to apply it is so extensive... If I have to do my makeup for a dinner or something, I'll be like, 'Ava, can you fix my eyeshadow? I can't remember what goes in the crease,' because she has this intense knowledge about how to shade." The "Legally Blonde" star added that her daughter also introduced her to some new makeup routines, and that it is thanks to her that she now uses highlighter on her cheekbones regularly.

Reese Witherspoon's skincare routine helps her look stunning with no makeup

In 2023, Reese Witherspoon shared the bare-minimum skincare routine that still gives her results on the brand Biossance's YouTube channel, revealing that her skin looks great thanks to the Biossance Squalane and Marine Algae Eye Cream as well as the Biossance Squalane and Vitamin C Rose Oil. In 2019, the Oscar-winner shared that her skin care is a non-negotiable every day. "As you get older and start seeing wrinkles and fine lines, it's so important to moisturize and use great products that really hydrate and take care of your skin," she told Glamour. "I clean my skin every night." The actor added that skincare doesn't have to be expensive, but figuring out what works for you is key. "I don't think beauty has to be prohibitively expensive. There are great products that are very affordable," she said, adding, "You might invest in a more expensive skincare routine, but then also buy a Revlon eyelash curler."

As injectables are very common in Hollywood, some believe that Witherspoon's stunning skin and features aren't entirely thanks to great anti-aging products. An insider revealed to Life & Style in 2024 that both Witherspoon and her "The Morning Show" co-star Jennifer Aniston are fond of the popular beauty procedures. "They both use fillers and Botox. They don't see a stigma with doing it, but Reese was slower to come around," the insider shared. "Jen doesn't want to go overboard, and neither does Reese." While Witherspoon hasn't opened up about this topic yet, here's what Jennifer Aniston has said about plastic surgery and injectables.
