10 Celebs Who Became Unrecognizable After Getting Lip Filler

Over the past decade, lip fillers have become a normalized beauty procedure that is no longer exclusive to the rich and famous. Of course, with the cosmetic change, knowing what to expect when getting lip filler injections is crucial. After all, we've witnessed on celebrities just how much of a difference lip fillers can make, as well as how easy it is to go overboard with them.

Now, while lip fillers used to be a taboo topic amongst those in the spotlight, in recent years, more and more celebrities have opened up about their cosmetic procedures, with many admitting to having had lip fillers. In fact, plenty have also shared their journeys of dissolving it online, showcasing that the trend of overly plump lips is kind of passé.

"Over the last five years there's been a shift from the 'more is more' LA look to the 'less is more' Parisian style approach to fillers," cosmetic doctor Tijion Esho revealed (via Save Face). However, while some celebs regret their overfilled look, the internet doesn't forget, and a side-by-side look of their lip changes shows just how unrecognizable some stars have become.

Lisa Rinna's plastic surgery is so obvious in side-by-side pics, and the actor has been very open about all of the cosmetic procedures she had done. In fact, when it comes to her lips, Rinna considers herself one of the first ladies in the spotlight to enhance them. "I'm the pioneer," Rinna told People in 2022. "It's nice to all of a sudden be a bit more accepted. It was so taboo back in the day when I did it." The "Real Housewives" alum had permanent lip fillers by the early '90s, and she hasn't looked back since.

Reality star Kylie Jenner has grown and changed in the spotlight, and in the mid-2010s, fans began noticing some changes in her lips. Jenner launched her first Kylie Cosmetics lip kits in 2015, claiming that they could help one achieve fuller and juicier lips, but the truth is that hers were already enhanced thanks to fillers.
